The attention to detail in the rooms (by theme) was wonderful and fun. We were in the Trout Room and were surrounded by cute, kitchy and folk-art fish! The common areas are comfortable and interesting. The hosts are very hospitable - Mark and Carla - we had a very substantial and delicious breakfast. We'll be back next year on our way through to Vancouver, and this time we'll bring our golf clubs.

My husband and I traveled to Logan Lake over Labor Day weekend to visit our son, who is doing an internship at the mine there. We feel fortunate to have found lodging at the Logan Lake Log Cabin B&B; Mark and Karla are exemplary hosts. Mark promptly responded to my initial email inquiries about the property. And when I called to discuss our visit, he was friendly, welcoming, and full of recommendations about where we might hike and kayak and spend time as a family. That helpfulness and warmth extended throughout our visit. We stayed in the Trout Room, which has its own private entrance - and a hot tub outside the door. The room, like the rest of the cabin, is beautifully appointed and spotless. I have no hesitation recommending this B&B to anyone. A special thank you goes to our hosts as well; they were flexible enough to let us invite our son and his girlfriend to share breakfast with us. It made the mornings that much more special - we all enjoyed the animated conversations we shared with our hosts during the meal. (When you go - be sure to visit the Left Field Cider Co. in Mamette Lake and the Noble Pig Brewhouse in Kamloops. Both are easy drives from the B&B.)

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on July 6 and 7, 2017. We were in Logan Lake for business and found this wonderful property.
The owners of this B&B - Mark and Karla - are very friendly, professional, and give you your space. Their attention to detail is reflective of this property and what a great value it is! They are also very responsive - within minutes they responded to our questions re: availability, price, etc. when we contacted them through their website.
What did we like about it?
1) They live in the basement of their wonderful log home cabin, so you have the run of the living room area with a huge sectional, wall-mounted TV, and various books spread out through the property, plus the games room upstairs that has table hockey. It is decorated tastefully with an outdoors-Canadiana theme.
2) Large wrap around deck with Muskoka chairs, a picnic table, and a BBQ - all with great southerly and westerly views of the hills and mountains. Great WiFi too!
3) They have a hot tub!
4) They keep the entire property spotlessly clean! This is a must for my wife and she raved about it!
5) They have bikes that guests can use!
6) We stayed in the Trout Room, which has a king bed, wall-mounted flat screen TV, ceiling fan, bar fridge, microwave, a separate, attached room which has a bunk bed for two kids, and a good-sized ensuite, 4-piece bathroom.
7) Little touches such as a soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispenser in the shower, discrete labels on the wall distinguishing bath towels from hot tub towels, two bottles of San Pellegrino water when you arrive, hairdryer, etc.
8) Mark is a golf instructor and if you stay there you get a free round of 9-hole golf at the local municipal Meadow Creek Golf course. We play a lot of golf (e.g., in Hawaii and BC) and this course was scenic, challenging, fair, fun, and uncrowded! Mark will also give you a free 30 minute golf lesson which we are glad we took advantage of.
9) Great breakfasts! Karla is an amazing cook! Over two days, we had oatmeal, sausages, cereal, toast, egg mcmuffins, muffins, fresh cut strawberries, avocado, yogurt, coffee, tea, apple juice, biscotti, bananas, etc. Karla happily accommodated my wife's vegetarian diet needs.
All this for $95/night! What a steal!
Their cabin is on a quiet residential street in Logan Lake and we were amazed at the number of deer you'd see roaming through the streets munching away on vegetation. Their Cabin is a two minute drive to the local plaza, which has a good pub (Pick and Shovel - apparently locally popular for their wings), take-out pizza called Aardvark Pizza (which we tried and highly recommend!), a Robin's Donuts, gas, groceries, etc. There is also a nice park by the actual lake in Logan Lake that includes an easy walk around the Lake.
Logan Lake is halfway between Meritt and Kamloops so the location is convenient if you're heading there or west to Ashcroft and beyond.
We would happily stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family!
P.S. Do try the Left Field Cider Company tasting room just 10-15 minutes south of Logan Lake too!
