Cabin #3 was incredible with a beautiful propane fireplace that kept the room comfortably warm and the room beautifully lit. The view allows you to see Face Lake for those that love the great outdoors and nature.

The shower was nice and hot and the gas oven made our pizzas incredibly delicious. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly with excellent knowledge of the area for activities.

Can't wait to come back!

Our first trip to Mile High exceeded our expectations. Our family of 4 stayed in cabin #5. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and the kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed to make our meals. The staff are all very accommodating and easy to talk to. It was nice having the staff come up to the cabin asking if we needed any new tea towels or a refill on toilet paper.
The kids had a blast swimming in the lake, playing on the playground, fishing and visiting all of the farm animals that they have.
Renting a boat for a full day was easy and they had fishing rods that we rented as well.
No wifi which we didn’t mind, it kept the kids outside adventuring! We were able to get service just down the road to check our phones as only Rodgers reception works at the resort.
Overall we will be back to this hidden gem!

Some very good points about the cabins they're nicely located close to the lake and are sparsely supplied with basic kitchen utensils... something I didn't like is they make a big deal about all the rules regarding no noise past 10pm and no radios no stereos Etc but we were kept awake two nights in a row by loud parties after 10 as well as people having music at the communal fire pit. It seemed a bit odd because they make it very clear that both of those things are not allowed. Another issue we had is in our cabin and on the door it says office is open until 7 on
Fridays so we had planned on getting the
auger to get our ice hole ready but they
were closed before 6 so we couldn't do
what we wanted to do the one evening we
only had two evenings..... the Donkey the pony and the rabbits are cool

completely and utterly disgusting. nothing is cleaned, owners are rude and judgmental and have zero respect for their guests. the “cleaning” they do is genuinely disappointing and the health inspectors should shut it down! BRUTAL. you are better off going and staying at the lodge in logan lake instead of wasting your money here.

Nice setting. Not a big fire ring for a large group. Cabin's very nice and well stocked, but overpriced, Rules on cancellations very strict, (READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL POLICIES) especially now because of Covit and other illness. Rules for campground very strict and over priced when no hook-ups. Otherwise a nice stay..

My friends and I have stayed here during every season, and have always had an amazing time. It is peaceful & beautiful & completely unique. I have stayed in both the rustic and delux cabins, and they have always been clean amd cozy and well stocked. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will be back for New Years to enjoy skiing, a bonfire and fireworks on the lake 😊

The best place I have been with my family, so many activities to do especially if you love the outdoors. It was nice to get away from cell service and spend quality time with the family. Cabins were clean and staff were very friendly highly recommended coming here if you wanna get away from the hectic world, we will be back again!

We originally wanted to book a cabin for 4 at the resort to celebrate my son's birthday but being as it was a long weekend, the cabin we wanted was unavailable. But we were pleasantly surprised when the resort called us to let us know that a larger cabin that slept 12 was available for part of the long weekend. On the website it stated that the cabin was $185 per night so we thought that was reasonable and since the cabin slept 12, we would invite some other friends and family along for a total of 8 of us. The cabin itself, (#7) was beautiful and open. It had a well equipped kitchen and BBQ on the deck. It was lovely with a lake view which not all of the cabins have. We spent 3 days kayaking and swimming in Face Lake and enjoying our time celebrating a couple of family birthdays.
On the down side, the resort has alot of restrictions. Too many restrictions! There are signs all over the resort about rules and regulations, strict quiet times, and use of the amenities. In the cabin there are two laminated pages of rules and signs all over the cabin about how to do the dishes, how to handle the garbage and recycling, no noise, no music, no pets, how to use the cabin, etc. It made us feel like we were intruders in someone else's home.
Second, we were expecting some extra charges for having more people in the cabin but realized that although the cost of the cabin was $185 per night, that was based on only 2 people and every extra person was $10 per person/ per night which ran up the bill quickly. Who sleeps 2 people in a 12 person cabin? Most dismaying was that we had invited my sister's family up to join us for birthday dinner and we were also charged $5 per person for day visitors which added another $20 on to the bill. It was uncomfortable for us to have the owner's young son come over to my nieces and ask what cabin they were visiting and then have him sitting outside our cabin counting people. I felt like we were under surveillance.
Despite the lovely cabin, the well kept grounds and the amazingly peaceful lake, we likely won't go back to Mile High Resort for any future family events as we did not feel especially welcome.

I was disappointed to have to pay an additional$5 per person to visit my family staying at the resort. We had to choose only one day to visit as would have cost us $75 should we have decided to visit our family every day of their 3 day stay. Definitely didn't feel welcome. I don't think I will be recommending Mile High for future out of town guests.

Our family has been coming to Mile High resort for the past 7 years for an annual fishing trip. We usually book in the one bedroom cabins and these are always clean and very comfortable. This past June/13 we booked in the large Chalet cabin and this was absolutely fantastic. The owners do a wonderful job at keeping the resort and cabins clean and well maintained. The cabins are always booked so you'll need to reserve well in advance, sometimes up to 1 year.

No dogs and no loud music is allowed here. If you come here to fish, you'll have no problem catching the stocked trout, just respect the maximum catch restrictions.
