This hotel obviously caters to mining contractors and sales people. No one was at the front desk whenever I went in or out, with check in at the bar next door and check out by telephone, The rooms were dated but clean. There is a bar, restaurant and gas station close to the hotel, and it is right on the main highway. Wireless Internet service was very sporadic and slow most of the time. Rooms were a little light on plug ins for computers or cell phone recharging. Beds were reasonable and warm. Inexpensive but quite basic. No elevator requires you to take stairs to the second floor. Overall, not unpleasant but not memorable either.

We stayed at the Logan Lake Lodge for one night as we travelled home. It was a side trip to visit a friend of my wife. When we arrived, I went to the desk to check in but the sign said to go to the bar for a room. I looked for a doorway to get me there but I had to go outside and walk to the end of the building. Checking in at a bar is not very classy. When I did get the room, we hauled our stuff in for the night. My wife needs bath aids and a raised toilet seat as she had had hip replacement surgery 3 weeks prior. It's a good thing we had all of the stuff as the washroom was extremely small and didn't have any aids. All in all, our stay was okay but like I said, the building is old and the floors squeaked in our room and the hallway. We paid $95 + tax for the night. It caters to crews more than anything, but hey, it is Logan Lake and there isn't much there.

This is our second stay here but there really aren't many other choices in town. The lodge is well located across from a small lake. Staff were friendly and seemed eager to be helpful, the location is central and convenient with an attached restaurant and other services close by (gas station, stores, food outlets nearby). Logan Lake seems relatively quiet and safe. The rooms don't have air conditioning and when we arrived it was 32 degrees C (about 90 F). However it did cool off in the evening and overnight. They are not overly strict regarding check out time. Check in is at the bar attached but the bar was not noisy (not that close to the rooms).

There was old sperm stains and hairs in n one bed sheet. The other bed had a large urine stain on the mattress protector. The toilet had a dirt ring in it. We are stuck here, it’s too late to go back on the road after a 10 hour road trip. There are no other motels here. No body working at reception desk. The bar cook brought us some fresh sheets that we ourselves had to change and that’s when we saw the large pee stain. We are in disbelief. Never ever stay here. I will make it a mission to let as many people know of this filthy place.

We stayed only one night, though we needed to be in the area for four more nights, so that should tell you something. In fact, we found it so horrible, that we moved to the nearest alternative in Merritt - a 30 minute drive each way from Logan Lake - adding 1 hour of driving each day.

This property is run down. The room we were in ( 101) had been heavily scented with strong chemicals of some type - we found several air fresheners and removed them. Both of us had sore throats and could not sleep.

Despite making other arrangement, our credit card was processed for an unauthorized hold amount that was several hundred dollars more than it should have been, and at this writing has not been reversed.

The Manager that we met with after our one night stay apologized for overcharging our credit card, and said she will not charge us for the nights stay.

As we all know, one stays in a hotel for one primary purpose - to sleep. The bed was worn out, lumpy and obviously in need of replacement.

The rate is only $81 plus taxes, but it means nothing if there is 0 value.

The bottom line is that this dump exists only because there is no competition in town, other than a B&B.

Dated rooms, beds hard and a bit lumpy....TV reception and choice non existent. Bar Food is not great except the wings, limp salads, pre-packaged hammy burger meat....calamari dripping in grease.....

Oh well, what do you expect!

The lodge is located in a convenient spot surrounded by shops, bank, etc.Staff was friendly. Room was small but had a fridge and a microwave was located in the hallway if needed. A fan was included in the room which made it much more comfortable on a hot day. Cafe attached made breakfast easy. Housekeeping was a little weak, large cob webs and the bedding was old style scratchy polyester but it was too hot to use! Decent stay for such a small town.

Was disappointed they had no air conditioning. But the summer days cool off pretty fast at night and I guess so not to bad. The rooms are a little outdated. Its hard to find anyone working there after 9. you usually have to go to the pub next door to get help which sucks of your travelling late you may not get any service.

Visited this restaurant after a day of biking trails and it did not disappoint! I sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the amazing views of the lake while eating a super brisket sandwich and fresh cut fries!
The service was outstanding and everything arrived hot and fast!
The pizza at some neighboring tables looked amazing and I'll be trying it out next time I visit!
Also, this place is so immaculate! The restrooms are decorated so cute and super clean, and the sitting area outside the restaurant is a great place to relax!
