Absolutely gorgeous setting! Our bright, clean room had a spectacular view of the vineyards. We were fortunate to be there on THE DAY of harvest, and strolled through the vineyards watching the bunches of grapes being picked by hand. The hosts are helpful and adorable, recommending villages to visit and great little cozy restaurants. Wine tasting on the property was...

Arturo and Barbara are lovely hosts and are passionate about their Winery and Agriturismo. The wine tasting was excellent, the room really comfortable and Barbara's breakfasts mouth watering. Rizieri is in a great quiet location amongst the vineyards of the beautiful Langhe region and the hosts recommendations for dinner in nearby restaurants were brilliant. We'll be back! Nigel & Barbara,...

Dear Nigel & Barbara, Thank you for very much your kind and enthusiastic words about Rizieri and for spending time in writing your wonderful review (besides we forgot to give you some milk on the side one morning ;-) ). We are very happy that you are enjoying our wines. We really hope to see you again! Very warm regards,...

Unlike so many Agriturismos which are dark & rustic, Rizieri is the epitome of elegance & refinement. The spacious rooms are individually decorated in impeccable taste & overlook the valley & vines below. Barbara & Arturo have created a wonderful retreat in the Langhi region of Piedmonte, as well as producing some fine wines. Breakfast alone is a feast of...

Staying at Rizieri was one of the highlights of our trip. The property and surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and the rooms are elegant and spacious. Arturo and Barbara did a wonderful job of making us feel at home. They helped us make restaurant reservations after guiding us to some of the best places to eat, let us know about a...

This agriurismo is a great place to relax. The crisp modern look and feel to the rooms are perfect for vacation. This was our first accommodation for a 2 week trip through Italy. Barbara is wonderful and kind from the initial meeting, through the explanation of the types of wines they produce, to making sure everything is taken care of...

We stayed at Rizieri for 7 nights and loved every minute of it. The agriturismo is located in a spectacular setting, a short drive from all the key Langhe towns, but away from the tourist hustle and bustle. The building has been beautifully renovated and the rooms and common areas are spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Arturo and Barbara...

The pictures on the website look almost photoshopped or at least stolen from the tourist bureau - in fact, they don't even do justice to how beautiful this place is. For those who haven't been, Barolo wine country is mile after mile of manicured vines covering the greenest mountainous terrain, dotted with quaint, hilltop villages, each with it's own church...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The agriturismo Rizieri is the ideal place for those wishing to spend a few days away from the chaotic rhythms of the city. The nineteenth-century farmhouse, embraced by vineyards and oak trees, is in the hearth of the Rizieri winery. The view extends to the entire surrounding valley and to the Alps. In the large room, converted from the old stables, you will be able to taste our wines with calm, surrounded by the vineyards that have originated them. Outside you can expect a charming countryside in all seasons. ... more   less
