In the lead up to our wedding we visited the Hunter a lot, and stayed at Potters 3 times. It is probably the most affordable accommodation in the Hunter valley, but has everything you could ever need- clean rooms, brewery, pool, great pub and very good food! As a result I booked out 12 rooms following the wedding for the...

Entering into the estate you see the antiquity of the past with the original kilns as the 1st view. Go past the kilns and you might as well be at a local RSL, sports tavern. Food was good however restaurant ambience has a long way to go. Rooms are cosy and include modern features, easy parking and spacious areas. Located...

Thank you for your feedback. The kilns are a beautiful entry to our property and steeped in history, adding a rustic charm to an ever evolving property. We are set in a great location and close proximity to the vineyards, and cater to a diverse client base. Pleasing to hear you had a comfortable stay in our spacious rooms.

Rooms could have been a lot cleaner for the money it cost, carpet was filthy, meals were over priced, wouldn't rate them as excellent for a basic steak & veg, Brewery tour was good value & interesting. Staff were pleasant in reception. Nice layout of the unit complex, villas would be good for a family.

We stopped there for lunch on our way to the hunter valley. Food was good, plentiful and well priced. Let's not forget the boutique beers! Nice to get a table outside and simply relax. Hubby had the mixed grill and trust me, he was happy about both quality and quantity. I had the antipasto board, and that was very nice...

We come often come here for dinner as it is not far from home The food is always of an excellent standard. Service is quick. The staff are friendly. Great atmosphere with great country charm in the hunter valley vineyards. There are great facilities for children as well. Function centre and accommodation is available for weekend or mid week getaways.

My partner and I were heading to the Hunter for a visit to the zoo (to play with the merekats! more about that at another time!). We decided quite late and booked in a day or 2 in advance, though we usually book weeks before. Seen as we were spending a decent amount on the activities, we went for an...
