We stayed as a couple 3 nights at the Hotel Pierer. Great location with partly wonderful views of the surrounding mountain and alpine landscape. Plenty of parking is available. Very nice reception, all staff - from service to housekeeping - were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious with double bed, couch and desk. Relatively small bathroom, but with enough storage space and good bath and toiletries. Toilet separate - great!!! Everything always super clean. What was not so great was the clairvoyance of the room. We had roommates with toddlers - from 06:00 she could not think of sleep anymore because the walls are very (!!!) thin! The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, there is everything you could wish for and imagine in top quality! Afternoon snacks (cake, fruit, small dishes) are also available. Dinner, served as a 6-course menu, was also very good in quality and choice. (Actually much too big portions, you can’t eat all this) We were also in the popup restaurant “Alm Asia” (about 80 well spent € additional fee). The 7 course gala menu has 2 toques quality and was great explained and presented by the junior chef Daniel. With almost 4 1/2 hours duration it was unfortunately a bit too long. Nevertheless a cool concept, a great evening & definitely recommended! The wellness and sauna area is spacious but partly winding (as the whole house is very winding), we didn't use anything because it was too crowded for us. (apparently there were also many day guests in the house!?!?) All in all, however, a nice stay where price/performance - especially because of the noisy room - was too high to our taste by a shade. Nevertheless, clear Recommendation for the Almwellnesshotel Pierer & its crew.

Our room was very spacious, room and bathroom are tastefully and yet functionally furnished. The wellness area is beautiful, the guided sauna infusions were fun, the outdoor area around the swimming pond is wonderful and we were lucky enough to be able to lie outside even in September. The breakfast offers a wide selection, the lunch snack is actually a "full-blown" lunch and the selection at dinner was also great.

We were there with our 5-month-old baby for a weekend to relax (as much as that is possible :D) and we really enjoyed it. Starting with the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff and finally the quality of the food, we have nothing to complain about. The overall concept works perfectly and we felt very comfortable. I would also like to highlight the choice of dinner, which I have never seen in a hotel in this category. There should really be something for every taste. Unfortunately, it is probably almost always fully booked at the weekend and therefore very full, which is of course not surprising. I also found the in-house boutique to be very well stocked and really appealing. That's why we had to spend a bit of money there ;) My personal highlights were definitely the 80-minute massage with Tibor and the sauna infusion with Helena. We will definitely be back soon!!

We drove to the Almwellness Hotel Pierer, hoping for peace and relaxation. Unfortunately, we were not granted this or that. The hotel turned out to be overflowing on arrival. Without the possibility to change early or store our luggage safely in our suite beforehand, as all lockers were full, we should spend the waiting time in the wellness area – which was unwelcoming in these circumstances. The promise of “wellness on a higher level” was not fulfilled in any way. Crowded pools, busy relaxation areas and an atmosphere that hardly allowed relaxation dominated our location on site. In terms of cuisine, breakfast and dinner also fell far short of the expectations of a four-star superior hotel. One bright spot was our spacious suite with a magnificent view of the greenery – but this could not decisively improve the overall impression. Who wants to spend the whole day in their room, but you don't book a four-star hotel. Unfortunately, the stay leaves the impression that neither the atmosphere nor the services offered meet the high demands and prices of the house.

Nice spa and nice rooms, but value for money is not right given the service. Even booking was difficult, as I was informed that the hotel would prefer me to arrive a day earlier despite free rooms, so there would be no gap in bookings. If I insist on the later date, I should book online - she could not prevent that anyway. I was about to cancel the stay, but still wanted to give the hotel a chance. On departure I asked for a kettle in the room, this I received after several questions 1.5 hours later. On arrival we were offered no help with the suitcases. I waited 35 minutes for my tea at breakfast. A question on my part did not seem welcome. At such prices you can expect far more service.

From check-in to check-out, we felt 100% at home. As soon as we entered the hotel, we found the ambience wonderful and the furnishings and accessories stylish. The rooms are well equipped and offer a great view of the surrounding mountains and alpine pastures. The wellness area has something for everyone and has been perfectly expanded in recent years (milk bar, chat room). The weekly program also leaves nothing to be desired (yoga, hikes, and much more). The high-quality culinary offering is hard to beat. There was one highlight after another, my personal favorite was the Egg Benedict with salmon for breakfast. However, the greatest asset for any service provider is always the staff. We can only congratulate the Pierer family on this excellent team! We look forward to seeing you again.

Great overall package: Very nice large rooms, many details well thought out. Some small (partially visible) bathroom. Beautiful ambience throughout the house, harmonious lighting, beautiful colors and fabrics, lots of wood. Wonderful wellness area (only the steam room could be larger), outside and inside. Perfectly thought-out family solution through separate areas. Fantastic food, great selection at the 6-course dinner menu, here you can cook classic and imaginative at the same time. Breakfast with everything your heart desires, lunch ("snack") equally- very good product quality. A little more variety in cheese would be nice. Beautiful location of the whole house, great view of nature from the terrace of the milk bar. Excellent hotel bar with top bar chef. Impeccable service throughout the house. For me overall an absolutely equivalent and in many areas even nicer alternative to the Steirerhof. We will come back.

For us, the Hotel Pierer is the most beautiful hotel. We enjoy the natural setting on the mountain pasture. The staff is very friendly and helpful - you always feel well looked after. The breakfast buffet offers far more than you could wish for, from freshly prepared egg dishes to salmon, fruit, cheese and sweets. The midday snack is very well stocked with soups, salads and cakes. The evening meal is a dream (I don't want to give everything away). Wellness is top notch, I particularly like the heated natural swimming pond, guided infusions and quiet relaxation rooms make the whole thing a perfect vacation. The room is fantastic. We have been regular guests for years and we will be back!

After I was able to spend a very nice break at the Almwellness Hotel Pierer two years ago, the opportunity has now arisen again. My last stay was in the summer, which meant I could also use the extensive outdoor facilities and the swimming pond. I was now very excited to see what a stay in winter would be like - and I was absolutely not disappointed. Swimming a few lengths in the heated infinity pool in a snowstorm as darkness falls, or relaxing in one of the steaming outdoor whirlpools in the middle of a snowstorm, provides a very special, winter wellness experience. As part of the spacious sauna area, we were also able to enjoy the infusion program this time (last time this was only available to a limited extent due to the pandemic). The infusions in the panoramic sauna are really a recommendable event - from the music to the care unit to the flavor-coordinated liqueur shots between the infusion sessions, everything is planned very lovingly and in detail. The modern, bright furnishings of the rooms and the rich culinary offerings impressed me just as much as last time. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and there were a few nice touches such as a welcome glass of champagne in the minibar and a small sweet surprise in the room. Highly recommended for a wellness break in both summer and winter!

We got to know a hotel with very good staff. Everything was just right, from reception to room cleaning. Friendly staff all around. We would particularly like to mention Ms. Kristl in the service department, who, despite her young age, has a routine that is rarely encountered.
As nice and helpful as the busy staff are, it is all the more difficult to find your way around the hotel at first.
The sauna infusions are also a special experience, a true work of art of attractions if you take part in everything.
In any case, we really enjoyed the three days. Not least because of the good food. The food on offer is varied and the "afternoon snack" is a real eye-catcher compared to some other hotels.
