We ate dinner here twice whilst staying in the local area and both times the food was excellent. We chose the three course dinner menu at 20 euros; there was plenty of choice and the service was attentive.

This hotel is everything you need for a quick visit when exploring the town. W had a TV, large bed and wardrobe space in there. Very basic but clean. The shower room was a bit on the small side but again perfect for what you need on a quick visit. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit...

Every year we go back and are amazed at both the quality of the food and the kindness of the owner. If you want real traditional French food this is the place to go. Remember to try their omelette aux cepes and their foie gras. On the way there admire the beautiful scenery.

On our way to the south we spend the nigth here. Lovely little spot, we enjoyed the pool and a good meal on the lovely terrace. Room was simple but sufficient. After a nice breakfast we continued our journey.

We started our Mac Adventures tour here in August. What a disappointment. Small, outdated room. Average food but with much pretension and attitude. Host was unwelcoming and became hostile when we politely questioned the bill on checkout. Never again.

Sarrazac is not the easiest of places to find so the very warm reception from the family made a good start to our visit. As we have dogs with us this was an ideal place for the morning and evening walk usually meeting some of the local dogs. The night sky was so clear and the peaceful surroundings all added...

A lively, well-run small hotel and restaurant in an out-of-the-way village in the middle of the Dordogne. One of those places where it's silent at night and you look up to see a million stars. Our room was in a new annexe, about 50 metres up the road from the main hotel, and this was clean and comfortable, with a...

I stayed here at the end of a difficult day of hiking in the Dordogne region. It is family-run, welcoming and quiet; far from the madding crowd. The rooms are clean and simple, but more than adequate for the foot-weary traveller. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very good, as is the service. There is not much to do...

“We were in a room in the annexe which was at the top with a long balcony plus a table and chairs. I cannot remember the number.”
