Good hotel to stay in the surroundings of Strasbourg and move by car. Quiet location, great parking slot for free, it gives you all you need for the kind of visit where you just need your hotel as a basement to rest, and recover. They offer breakfast for a good price. Rooms are quite basic, bit old and small, but they are very clean and room service takes place everyday. Strasbourg is only 10 minutes by car or you can drive to Hoenheim Tram station were you can park your car and move by public transport for 4,20€ all passengers.
In general, good value for money.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad to know that overall you had a good stay and that we were able to help start your day off on the right foot with our tasty breakfast buffet. We are sorry that you were not entirely satisfied with the size of your room; all our rooms are the same size which many of our guests find to be cosy. However, due to personal preferences, we understand that this is not always the case. It is rewarding to know that you appreciated our convenient location and competitive prices. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back on another occasion. Kind regards, Benjamin GODARD, General Manager

Very good hotel with plenty of parking space. In fact it is located outside the city so it is better to visit by car. Going downtown anyway is easy and there are plenty of (relatively cheap) parkings there. Rooms are spacious with all amenities, breakfast is abundant and service3 kind and efficient. There is no restaurant though

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion with us. We are glad that you had a pleasant stay at the Hotel Roi Soleil Strasbourg Mundolsheim; thank you for appreciating our location and our parking facility. We appreciate your mention of our spacious rooms and well-maintained facilities as well as our team's service. The acknowledgement of the quality of service on the part of a recent guest encourages us to constantly improve our performance. We also are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the wide variety of options available at our breakfast buffet; however, while indeed we do not have a restaurant connected to our hotel, several restaurants are located nearby. Do not hesitate to ask for more information at the reception during your next stay. We do hope that you will return in the future. Kind regards, Benjamin GODARD, General Manager

Good stay for just the night. A little basic but still nice and perfect for just a stop over or business travel. May be kettle in room would be nice how ever the machine by reception were very well priced. Also if looking for little extra may be some form of shampoo / body wash would be nice. Clean bedroom and not a bad amount of space. The bathroom was good how ever the drains smelt really bad from the sink. Breakfast was okay. Once again good for a quick breakfast and then off. I would say it is very similar to a good English budget hotel such as Travelodge and works well. Little things could enhance the stay but as a quick stop off it is does do a good job. Lovely receptionists.

The lady for cleaning the room was too aggressive.
The bed was too small for two person and was . The baby bed was with no foam sheet and they wanted my baby to sleep on tough rails. And with no cover blanket.
The lady for cleaning sometimes forgot to put towels some times no tissue paper.
The entrance of the hotel was too away of the station.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you felt our service fell below the standards expected of us and apologize for any oversight. Rest assured that we will be addressing your comments with our housekeeping team. We regret that you were not entirely satisfied with the size of your bed. We hope we can provide you with an improved stay in the future. Best wishes for the holiday season, Benjamin GODARD, General Manager

The reception closes at 10:00pm. I checked in after that time on 22 October 2013 using an automated check-in machine and paid by debit card for my breakfast the following morning, room tax and received my hotel and room entry card. I had pre-booked and paid for my accommodation for three nights when I was in England and had not stayed there before. The following morning I had breakfast, handed my entry card in to reception and left the hotel; I arrived back at the hotel after 10:00pm later that day and attempted to get my entry card from the automated machine as I had done the previous night. The machine did not acknowledge that I had a reservation. I gained access to the lobby by following other guests but could not use my room. THERE WAS NO EMERGENCY NUMBER TO CALL FOR HELP. Several french-speaking guests tried to help without success so I STAYED IN THE LOBBY ALL NIGHT until 6:00am when the reception staff arrived. This is totally unacceptable and other guests must know about it.

Friendly staff welcomed us in this nicely situated hotel. Decent room size, very clean and very nice breakfast buffet. Perfectly situated to visit the Europapark,Strasbourg and it's surroundings. If I had to find a negative point it might be the thin walls of the rooms but then it's not a 3☆☆☆ hotel and it is acceptable.

Comfortable well-equipped room. Front desk staff (Michelle) was very helpful. Plenty of parking. Only letdown was the sparse breakfast selection, which is served at the reception desk! Nearby villages are really picturesque with traditional Alsatian farmhouses - a recommendation from Michelle took us to a delightful restaurant in a converted millhouse in the next village.

Easy collection of keys via the automatic box at the entrance as we arrived after working hours (ie. after 10pm).
A quiet place, clean and comfortable, good value I think for the price we paid.
Will probably come back there next time I need a hotel near Strasbourg.

This hotel is very basic. If you are from the USA it is very much like a Microtel. The rooms are very small but have lots of storage. Bathroom was an average size and fine. Except the shower didn't drain very well. One difficulty we did have was we arrived at 3:30 pm on a Sunday and found the reception and building closed. A note on the door said that on all Sundays in October the reception would be closed from 1:00-5:00 pm. It would have been nice to know this before we bypassed Strasbourg to get to the hotel and then drove back again when we realized we couldn't check in.
