Tale House Montenegro is 3 km from Tivat city center in Montenegro, 6 km from Kotor. Lapetane, a charming fishing village, is on the Adriatic coast in the middle of Boka Kotorska bay. There are five apart rooms and a swimming pool. Our rooms have a bedroom and a bathroom with balcony.

My first time as a solo traveller I wasn’t sure what to expect from an apartment in Montenegro. In the end I went with the Trip Advisor reviews for Tale House, which are all excellent. I see why now. Didem and her family were so welcoming and answered all my little questions beforehand, arranged airport transfers and basically took any hassle away.
The apartment I had was lovely, with sm amazing view from both the main room and the bedroom. It had everything you need to cater for yourself if you want to, or help was on hand to book taxis to places for dinner, etc. I opted for breakfast in my room on one day (an extra charge) but worth it and it set me up for a sightseeing day. So much to see.
The apartments are in a good location for exploring - you can walk for 5 mins to the ferry which runs every 5 mins across to Kemanari (free for foot passengers) where there is a lovely private beach and restaurant just another 10 minutes walk along the coast
You can also get a cheap bus to Herceg Novi from here, which is beautiful. Only 1.5 euros for a 15km trip.
There are also buses to some key places like Bay of Kotor, Porto Montenegro and Tivat town. The advice I got from Tale House was very welcome, especially when you don’t speak the local language!
All in all, this was a lovely, friendly trip and I hope to return to Tale House one day.

Because of a series of travel mishaps, I wound up coming to this family hotel very last minute. Despite the spur-of-the-moment booking, my arrival here went smoothly and this ended up being one of the highlights of my trip!
From the moment you walk in, The owners of Talehouse Montenegro (mother Ayse and her daughter Didem) are just wonderful , warm ,attentive and very helpful.
The hotel itself is fairly small-- only 5 or 6 rooms total, I believe-- which means a lot of personal attention from the owners and just a generally cozy, quiet vibe.
I was very lucky enough to get my exquisite apartment in daylight and I cannot describe how thrilled I was when I saw the view. Not only do you get a spectacular vantage point to appreciate the mountains and the Bay of Tivat you also have a big terrace on the top of apartment to enjoy it from.
I had breakfast in terrace meals were fresh and delicious.
And, of course, TaleHouse's location in Tivat make it convenient for both Kotor and Budva which are fairly short cab rides away.
This is one hotel I know I will definitely be coming back to visit!

We were amazed with the view from the balcony and with hospitality of the lady who is the owner. She was very kind and helpful. The dog named May kept our company. We will miss this place a lot and we can’ t wait to come here again. You should definitely come here

Good location , best view , very comfortable and big rooms.you can take the breakfast in your room with amazing sea and mountain view. There was everything what I expect for the holiday. I strongly advice this beautiful boutique hotel.

We have stayed at the hotel in April during okur Balkanian tour. Beautiful view, great hospitality, clean and cozy rooms. I can advise the hotel with no hesitation. We have enjoyed the lovely panorama.

Tİvat experience became much more enriched with the The Tale House. The high quality accomodation meets comfort in your room. It is the proper place for either short or long stays with the plenty of space in the room for any activity like cooking in the kitchen and having a nice meal. The magnificient sea view of the room suddenly suprises you with the appearance of an enormous cruise ship passing by silently as if she respects the peaceful environment. The experienced owner of the hotel provides you with anything you need personally. Don’t go to bed early at night and enjoy a drink in the beautiful balcony. If you have kids give them the opprtunity to choose among the rooms which have the names of characters in some worldwide known tales like Peter Pan or Robin Hood while making your resevation.

The location of the hotel is perfect, near Tivat, and not so far to Kotor. You can walk to beach to swim in amazing water. Or you can use the pool at hotel. The owner of hotel so friendly, helpful, and perfect guide to tour arround Montenegro Coast. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are clean and very comfortable, well equipped. You can do everything in that room, I fell myself as if at my home. And finally, the view of hotel, is amazing! You must see this by your own eyes. Peaceful and beautiful. It was hard to choose that go out and discover Tivat, or stay in room and enjoy with the view:) Montenegro is a beautiful country and you can find the most beautiful view at Tale House Montenegro..

In June I visited Montenegro and found Tale House hotel by chance on the internet. It was an excellent hotel choice.
The owner of the hotel is a very nice and friendly lady.
Hospitality was perfect. Our room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very delicious. It is very close the sea , location is wonderful and also nature of the hotel was perfect.
We already booked for October again. See you soon dear Tale House :=)

With calm atmosphere and peace all around, you are sure to have a relaxed feel on your holiday. A stay at Tale House Montenegro has been pleasant for most of the guests because of the serenity, spectacular sea views and pictures. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. The staffs are really friendly. Make me feels very good. This is what I can say after all the unbeliavable seaview..watching the cruises from my room window..lovely..This is beyond expectation. I am glad that I spent my holiday here.

Hi,
We are 2.5 km far away from the city center. You can find everthing there. But you can not walk I think.
And on the Kotor way you can find lots of sea food restourants. Its about 1-2 km away from here. Also by waiking they may be far away.
