Glamping Off the Beaton Path offers the camping experience without the work. We enjoyed our first visit here so much that we returned for another night a week later. All that we brought with us were linens and a cooler with food and drinks, as the cabin was stocked with dishes, water, firewood, a lighter, marshmallow roasters and camping chairs. The peaceful location overlooks the gorgeous Gulf of St. Lawerence so if you stay, catching the sunset is a must! The owner, Dougie, was extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend Glamping Off the Beaton Path!

Highly recommended! My sister and I stayed there, the forecast called for rain- Dougie was concerned that it would be cold and damp, he ( on his own) brought down extra blankets/comforters for us! The tent-cabins were dry and comfortable but the view and sunsets are breathtaking- able to see Margaree Island and visit Broad Cove brought back memorable times from our younger years :) Thank you Dougie/Angela for our wonderful stay!

We can’t wait to return to Glamping Off the Beaton Path. The view is breathtaking and the cabins are neat, tidy, and have everything you need. The host, Dougie, is lovely and makes sure that guests are taken care of and shares his knowledge of the area. The bathrooms and showers are kept very clean. Can’t say enough good things about this gem of a place!

We were shocked to arrive to our accommodations to find a super steep and very rocky driveway. There were no advanced warnings of this from the owner and we weren't happy to have to take our little aging car on this road. Not a great start. As a result we didn't want to come and go so felt a little trapped.
The view is incredible, the sunset was ethereal. The cabin seemed to have all the dishes you'd need for cooking( we didn't use any) but the bed was very uncomfortable, like sleeping on a box spring.
We weren't super happy with this experience but as it's our first glamping cabin, perhaps we'll just stick to camping.

What an incredible experience! There is no better way to experience nature than camping. Glamping makes it even more special because you don’t have to pour your energy into setting up your accommodations. Dougie thinks of all of this for you. We camped in October so be sure to pack even more blankets than you think is necessary. The views are absolutely stunning. Stars out at night, the sound of the waves! I could live here!

What an incredible experience! My boyfriend and I initially booked this cabin as we needed a place to stay while we hiked in the Highlands. What we didn't expect was to absolutely fall in love with the cabin itself! The view was breathtaking and the cabin was such a unique design, equipped with everything that you need to enjoy your stay while still getting to experience the best parts of camping. I will definitely be returning!

A group of five of us went in the off-season so we were the only group there. Doug was extremely friendly and gave us an extra cabin if we wanted the space. He made sure we had enough blankets, firewood, etc. The location is stunning, the cabins are a great amount of room, but I mostly loved the backstory of the place & dougs dedication :)

Stayed August 2021 and first off the owners were very accommodating and friendly. They were around whenever needed and gave great advice on where to go to enjoy the area. Beautiful sandy beach 4 minute drive away and Inverness with all their amenities are 15 minutes the other direction. Cabins were clean and had everything needed to make your stay comfortable. Firewood provided along with a propane stove. Rock painting was a favourite for the kids. Great stay and again what a view. Definitely recommend.

This was our first time glamping. The views are amazing and you are very close to beautiful beaches. Such a quiet, relaxing area which was also eco friendly and very clean. We were very impressed and will definitely be back again.

Thanks for such a great experience!

Fantastic destination. No need to bring most camping supplies, but you still get an outdoor experience. Dougie was great and very helpful. Not too far from the national park, but lots to do even closer to the site. Phenomenal photography spot. I will definitely be back!
