I stayed at Hotel Rural Fuentes de Lucia for a hiking and yoga retreat, and it was wonderful. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and well appointed and the yoga studio was gorgeous. We all loved gathering on the outdoor patio, which had spectacular mountain views. The communal areas were wonderful, as well. We had so much fun playing cards and...

I lead a hiking and yoga retreat and the hotel was out home base. Judy and Juan Carlos were welcoming and super accommodating hosts. The rooms were pristine and the meals were delicious and healthy. The yoga studio was perfect and well equipped for our group. I highly recommend!!

My wife and I spent a week at this lovely hotel in rural Asturias. The accommodations were spacious, comfortable and inviting. Good meals. Outstanding views. Our hosts were kind, attentive and made us feel at home. The side trips (wee were on an art workshop) were fantastic. Is the part of Spain that few get to see. We loved our...

We stayed in this hotel for a week, exploring the local area on an adventure holiday. I can highly recommend the place, both for its idyllic location and for the amazing hospitality of the couple who run it. It's a proper rural retreat, with home-cooked meals (we went for the half-board option which was great, as there aren't really any...

Everything raved about in the previous reviews is true!! My "Walk and Talk" week-long retreat at Fuentes de Lucia was wonderful. My "Room With a View" was lovely. The Spanish teacher, guides and staff were great. The food was fresh and delicious. Asturias is green and beautiful. When my plans changed last minute, Judy, the owner, went above and beyond...

Juan Carlos and Judy have created a haven in this tiny village. We spent a week here in spring, enjoying beautiful mountain scenery, walking the ancient footpaths that crisscross the slopes, passing fields full of wildflowers and the gentle sound of cowbells. The accommodation and the food are superb, and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, who ensured...

We stayed at Fuentes de Lucia for a week. What a joy! I don't intend to talk about the facilities- they were all top class, with real attention to detail, but what makes such a break great is the human geography. Judy was away for most of the week, so Juan Carlos 'looked after us'. It was a memorable time:...

Had a wonderful week at this very rustic yet sophisticated B&B. I was part of a yoga/hiking retreat and every day was well-planned and the staff was eager to please, informative and flexible. I had a private room and bath with a terrace and everything was spotlessly clean, room was spacious and the views were spectacular. Breakfast and dinner were...

The scenery here is spectacular, and after spending most of my adult life in Aspen, that is saying something. The view from this place alone is worth the trip, however it is the charming hospitality that makes you want to come back. This place is run by the most delightful couple - a Spaniard and an American. They are passionate...

I spent a week in June painting in Asturias. The moment I stepped out of the van that took us to the hotel I was hooked. The clean air, the beautiful views, the smell of lavender surrounded me. The owners Juan Carlos and Judy were wonderful hosts as was the guide. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom modern....

“If you are looking for night life - this is not the place. If you really love the great outdoors but want to return in the evening to all the comforts of civilization - this is the place for you. The people and the place are lovely. One side of hotel has the views - but I was never in my room when it was light so it did not really matter.”
