8 Cabins + 1 Travel Trailer and 4 Motel Suites available for booking. All cabins have a full size fridge, stove (propane or electric), microwave, toaster, coffee maker and bbq. They are fully stocked with cooking supplies and kitchen utensils. Bedding is provided in our cabins for an additional charge. Our Suites have a kitchen with a large mini-fridge, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, air fryer, double induction cooker and bbq. All cooking supplies and utensils are included. All bedding and linens are included in our Suites. Both Cabins and Suites are equipped with a 3-piece washroom with shower. Our Cabins and Suites DO NOT have televisions, telephones or air conditioning - by design. Regardless of where you stay, you will have access to all of our amenities.
Absolutely stunning country, incredibly friendly hosts. We stayed here while bikepacking across Canada and took a rest day to canoe through the beautiful lakes Kashabowie is situated on. We wish we could have stayed longer but we had already booked our onwards journey, when you get here, you will want to linger, it's a great spot. We got the food package with the accommodation, and even after riding over 100km we were full and satisfied, Tracy is a great cook and the meals were substantial, you won't go hungry that's for sure.

This resort is awesome! The owners, Kyle and Tracie Vesio are just so down to earth and caring. Their stories of ownership over the years truly entertaining and hospitality is above and beyond. The resort offers a nice waterfront area: good landing, great docking with electricity, a small beach, paddle boats, canoes, small motor boats and a CLEAN fish cleaning house. Also there is a small playground, horseshoes and much more. We came for the fishing and were no disappointed. Beautiful Shebandowan lake takes you from pristine peaceful settings to exciting Walleye chop. We love this resort and the wonderful family who own and run it. Thanks for making our vacation exceptional! See you next year!

We always enjoy our summer visits to Kashabowie River Resort! We like to visit a few times every summer! This resort is absolutely beautiful with breath taking views, great fishing and extremely friendly staff and people! The cabins are extremely clean and comfortable, the newly remodeled beach front provides an incredible area to relax and enjoy the sun and even play some super fun beach games. This resort is wonderful for all individuals, families, couples or even a fun getaway with friends. Thank you Tracey and Kyle for another incredible stay!!

Just got back from another awesome trip to Kashabowie River Resort! Kyle and Tracey are fantastic hosts. Our cabin was spotless and the mattresses were super comfortable. Due to the heat we spent our time ON the lake fishing and IN the lake swimming. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful new beach area and the floating dock. The paddle board and kayaks provided at the resort provided a ton of entertainment for my boys. We enjoyed the walleye and bass fishing on the lake. We can't wait to book again next year!

Longtime visitors at this outstanding resort. Our family has been coming here annually since 2000. Ownership changed hands a while back and the resort went from good to great. Every year new amenities are added along with cabin upgrades. It truly is a hidden gem on some of the best fishing you could ask for. Everyone is so friendly and eager to please. We have already booked for 2025.

The natural view captivated me immediately we arrived! My husband and l were contemplating where to take our kids to for a quick and short summer get away and then l remembered a friend mention everything Kasbowie resort and l was like what’s that? She said oh forget it you will love it there because she was going with her sister and her husband. I decided to give it a shot and l wasn’t disappointed. We had lots of fun and my kids loved it on the water with the kayak and the family size yellow boat. Thank you, Kyle and Tracey for the hospitality.

Gorgeous area and fantastic resort. Owners Kyle and Tracey are simply awesome! Rented a cabin and boat for a few days. Kyle pointed out some spots to try fishing and we caught walleye, northern, and small mouth bass!

I didn’t get to stay in their cabin so I can’t comment on the quality but I arrived quite late after a long ride and checking if there is any availability. There wasn’t but the owners let me pitch my tent in their property. They have a beautiful dock and I went for a swim. The weather is quite warm and comfortable. These are the kindest people. Thank you. I would love to come back and check out this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kashabowie River Resort. The cabin was comfy, cozy and the river front setting beautiful. Kayaking, sauna-ing(?) and swimming was so relaxing. A much-needed break from work life in Thunder Bay. Yet so close and convenient. Kashabowie River Resort is a great get-away! Highly recommended! Laurie & Brendon McD.

We got in on Friday, we got a nice friendly greeting, our cabin was awesome. Everyone from the owners to the campers were super friendly. We were there for some smallmouth bass fishing, and the fishing was awesome. The bass are everywhere in that lake. Less than a minute boat ride and we were on them for the day. Would give ten stars if I could. Absolutely loved it there, and can't wait to go back!
