The room was clean. We got two beds and both were comfortable. The TV was working. The washroom was a decent size and clean as well. It just that there was no hair dryer. They offer free continental breakfast from 6am to 11am. The parking was big too. The motel is near a grocery, gas station and fast food.

My sons hockey team came into town for a tournament and the whole town was full and buzzing to accommodate everyone.

What set aside Homestead Inn & Suites from the rest was the prompt service and effort to go the extra mile! the Manager seemed to be working around the clock which really speaks volumes about their interest in making everyone's stay top notch.

The rooms were very modern and clean, the staff also was very friendly and quick to provide recommendations for restaurants and things to do to pass the time when we were between games.

I will definitely stay here again and would recommend.

My daughter and I stayed here for one night while passing through towards Prince George. The inn is a cool little Gray square building almost industrial like. The rooms are comfortable and have all the necessities from mini fridge, microwave, and television.

Doors are locked at 11 pm for 'security'. That was my first clue that something was wrong. 2nd clue: no one was ever at the front desk. 3rd clue: check out in the morning is throw your keys in the basket and leave. So about 11.30 pm there's a hallway brawl, then again 1/2 or so later with yelling, screaming and doors slamming. People standing outside our window talking loudly. Lots of fun.

So on top of that, there's no ice machine, pop or chip/candy machine even tho space for it. Guess it got destroyed and never replaced.

Anyhow, if you don't mind not sleeping, the rooms come equipped with fridge (with freezer compartment), small 5 cup coffee machine with large coffee pods (2 coffee pods, pot makes 3 cups each pot), microwave. No breakfast included, no hairdryer in our room, no kleenex

I’m in the area for a while, with work. I personally checked out hotel/motel option in town. We are going to be in the area for some time but nothing long enough that it merits renting and signing leases, so on and so forth.

When i first stopped in to inquire about long term stays, they had not established a weekly or monthly rate, as they had literally just opened days before. Johnathan the hotel manager was extremely kind, courteous, polite and above all professional.

He kindly discussed room rates, as well as showing me the rooms and the set ups. From the presidential suite with a full, and I mean a full kitchen, like this place is incredible. I was not able to commit at that time otherwise I would have hopped all over that presidential suite lol.

I could not commit at that time, that did not bother him in the slightest and as one would expect from a top tier hospitality professional, he pointed me in the direction of other properties in the area that he would recommend.

I then shook his hand, went back out to my truck, cracked open the google machine and proceeded to check out every hotel/motel in town. I was quick to make my decision. The Homestead Inn and Suites, is by far the nicest and most up to date (be it at this time of Review Nov 23 2019) in the entire area.

From the massive king size bed to the huge flat screen smart tvs in every room.
After much consideration (that’s a lie, there was nothing to consider) I am now one full week rented in the Presidential Suite, and its been incredible.

The entire hotel staff, from Johnathan to Adina (the head hotel housekeeper) I have been treated with the utmost cander that one would in a 5 star hotel.

It is immaculately cleaned, comfortable, quiet, smells like a new car (hotel in this case) everything about this place is, well perfect.
