We'd stayed here before and had a good stay. This time, however, was a different story.

As always, the room was clean and nicely appointed with comfortable beds, fridge, microwave, ironing board and iron and hair dryer. However, it was also very hot. Even with the bathroom and front windows wide open, it was very stuffy. We has to sleep with the front window open and were treated to another guest shouting in to the room in the dead of night, searching for one of his buds.

Usually a nice place to stay and the restaurant serves very good schnitzel.

I was a little afraid of what I might find as far as hotels in Vanderhoof. I travel a lot for work and I can honestly say that I have never stayed in a quieter room. Not only was it quiet, but it was clean and comfy and the staff were friendly. While maybe not the fanciest hotel in the world, I got a great night's sleep and that is the most important thing!

This inn near the geographic center British Columbia is charming comfort. The rooms are comfortable. The restaurant is deluxe log cabin with a European charm. Breakfast is excellent - quality, fresh, delicious.
If you get to this neck of the woods, stay at the North Country Inn.

Our stay here was great. Room 34, seems recently updated. Was very clean and quiet. We have stayed here for the past 5 years on our way back and forth from Prince Rupert and standard of cleanliness is consistent. Restaurant on site is very convenient and food is pretty good. If you need a place to stay, this is it!

This was a very nice hotel -- clean , comfortable and quiet. I was very surprised that the room did NOT have an air conditioner. There was a fan on the dresser and the windows were open. I would think Northern British Columbia normally would not need air conditioners in the summer but it was 90-95 degrees. So time to update!

1. The mattress has no support at all. Like you gonna sink in a sinkhole deeper and deeper. Worst experience.
2. The carpet is super wet.
3. The air smells musky, can't breathe
4. The AC was so noisy like in the machinery room. Unacceptable
5. Very noisy from traffic
6. The front desk staff was rude and had the attitude "we run our family business who cares with customer just show your money"

The hotel is good, typical room with two beds with typical Linens however with even a cheaper room you get a bit of a kitchen including a fridge, they do keep it quite clean and the people at the office are quite friendly. My next picture is the restaurant pretty much attached to the property which makes early morning breakfast easy and it is definitely tasty thanks North Country inn.

No complaints, the rooms were clean but I found it quite overpriced for a motel. Call and check for the rates before booking because I do not believe they’re mentioned on the website or is available on booking apps.
