Stayed here with family end of July. Rooms were nice n clean but had a fan instead of a/c. Was told its being renovated. Had the last available double room, hotel seemed to be fully booked. It wasnt on the main highway but couple of blocks off. Staff was very friendly and took our luggage up. Would stay here again. Recommended.

This inn is in the middle of being renovated and has a bit of a checkered past but that has changed. With the new management and friendly staff it is making a come back and is good value for the working people that require short term accommodations. I would not recommend it for a family get away. If your looking for good value and clean rooms to spend time in while your visiting Vanderhoof BC area, I suggest you give it a try.

Stayed here first week of June/2014. This hotel has new owners and looks like its quite renovated. The rooms have everything new, including flat screen tvs and lots of other amenities. Very nicely done and priced right. We will stay here again next time passing through.

Room was clean and service was good. Stayed there for 1 night. Only problem was there were train tracks nearby and once in a while you would hear a train horn. But thats about it. Everything else was good.

In August, on the way to Rupert from Williams Lake we stopped over at Tim Hortons In Vanderhoof and decided to stay the night. We checked in at Vanderhoof Inn, just off highway 16. The Hotel seemed to be recently renovated. Lobby was inviting. Room was very clean, seemed to have new beds, flat screen tv etc. The hotel staff was very friendly and gave us a free breakfast coupon for the restaurant at the hotel. Would stay here again next time.

Stayed in August 2014. The good; rooms seem mildly updated with a flat screen TV and fresh paint/fixings. Beds are sort of soft. The bad; very hot rooms with no air conditioning, room was pretty dirty/dingy, fridge had food in it from the last occupant and bathroom had hair all over floor. Carpets really stained and yucky. Internet is not the worst but not the best either. Would not recommend.

Boyfriend got a new job and is stuck here for two months until we can find a place. I’ve been here for two weeks and haven’t seen housekeeping once even after putting the “maid service please” sign on the door and can’t even get ahold of anyone who works here. The sheets don’t even fit the bed and are constantly sliding off and the mattress is stained and dirty. Have to take out garbage to his work and buy our own toilet paper because of no maid service. Rooms are musty and the bathroom fan leaks water whenever it’s turned on. Overall not a great experience but the only option we have.
