I have just spent eight weeks at the Old Oreleton due to major building works at my house and cannot praise the staff and management enough. They helped make a very difficult situation for me less stressful; nothing was too much trouble. I had a beautiful room, very comfortable with lovely views. It is the one on the website and...

We stayed here when visiting friends in the area. Cannot find fault here at all. Excellent lovely room, fab breakfast and the evening meals were absolutely gorgeous. Good selection of tea/coffee in room with chocolate as well as biscuits. Only complaint was the radiator wasn't working very well even though we were told to let them know if it hadn't...

Booked in very last minute after a booking error with another location. Very glad this happened now as I found this gem. Plenty of car parking in lovely little grounds. Gentleman who checked me in (I assume he was the owner) was very friendly and showed me all the way to my room. Room was lovely and warm with a...

We were bought a red letter day as a Christmas present and after studying lots of reviews chose to use in the The Old Orleton Inn restaurant so we decided to make a night of it and stay over. We booked through Booking.com which was cheaper than booking direct with the hotel. We booked the 4 poster room which was...

Just back from a lovely stay at this little gem. We booked a stay as part of a weekend visiting Ironbridge Gorge. From arriving when the welcome was efficient to checking out we were really well looked after. The staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. The food - both dinner and breakfast was outstanding and the room and general decor...

The garden is looking lovely as always. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and service as good as always. The fish finger bloomer hit the spot after a walk up the Wrekin. Didn't have room for the clotted cream and chocolate ice cream but from past experience it is a lovely dessert. Wide choice on the menu. Made to feel welcome....

Visited here as it is a fairly local place for us and without doubt one of the best contemporary restaurants in the Telford an Wrekin area- superb food, great choice of wine and a lovely setting. We had rib eye with blue cheese sauce - sublime and fish and chips with an amazing batter thin crispy and tasty - you...

Very spacious first floor room with all mod cons including Wi-Fi, plenty of hustle and bustle from road junction outside, but not intrusive. Owners very friendly and we ate in both nights, good bar and a la carte restaurant; nice an busy with locals also present.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Staff were delightful, everyone looks happy to be here. The food was excellent! We had breakfast and dinner here during our stay. Try the traditional fish with really crispy batter with home made mushy peas and tartar sauce. The chips were the best ever..really big chunks of potatoes, crispy on the outside warm and fluffy...

Echoing others reviews , the food is wonderful! Don't eat for the day prior to dinner as the portions are huge! Pity we couldn't do dessert justice! The room was beautifully decorated. Lots of things to do in the area especially if you are National Trust fans.
