Very nice and cosy hotel. Fantastic views! Perfect for family time in the Pyrenees. The owners are very nice and the food was very good and tasty. The location if the hotel is pefect to do some hiking in the Pyrenees. I felt very confortable. 😃😃
Hotel Mirador has spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains. The rooms advertised are their "premium rooms". Upon check-in, the host offered one of these rooms for 20 euros more. We thought the room was big and modern, but not as clean as it could have been. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. For a low price, I would stay here again.
the "superior room" is spacious and luminous. The jacuzzi in the room is a rare experience. The hotel location on top of a hill is again very unique. This makes the place a 360° sightseeing spot. Of course we did'nt try the standard rooms so we have no opinion on them.
We found this hotel on a bike tour, totally unplanned. We stayed in a very reasonable priced premium room with one of the best views we have had in a long time. The room looked like an upscale 5* hotel in New York city, electrical blinds, little kitchen, bath tub with water jets and great view, etc. all controlled by iPod/iPhone if you have one. The restaurant was also surprisingly good. The owners are still upgrading some of the rooms and some of the outside spaced, e.g. tennis court, football ground, have not yet been fully updated. However, the swimming pool is small but with a great view :)
When we saw the room, we thought they were joking. Maybe it has to do with the pictures we saw when we booked, we discovered once there that those were the premium rooms, but the thing is that the "normal" room had absolutely nothing to do with what we were expecting. We complained but there was nothing to do. The hotel is under renovation and there are 4 premium rooms, those pictured all over the place, and 8 normal rooms, old, crappy and way below expected for the money paid. Staff is friendly but there was not an inch of flexiblity when we complained. Under my point of view, knowng we were active Internet users, the smart thing to do would have been to cancel the booking and return us our money, but that was never an option. On the other hand, location is breath taking. Very near the ski station, it's in the heart of Cerdanya, one of those small paradises that Catalunya has to offer. Careful with the winding tack that runs from the main road up to Lles, specially by night.…
