A wonderful, warm welcome. The hosts were most accommodating, the food fantastic, and the room perfect. We would stay here again given the opportunity. I even got an explanation of the wonderful smell that we encountered in the area which is the burning of turf. You'll just have to go and smell it for yourself to understand.

I stayed here in November for one night. Highly recommended , beautiful room, clean, warm and comfortable. The owners were discreet but friendly , helpful and attentive to all needs. It is worth contacting them directly to book as I didn't have the option of booking a single room online, Can't say enough about the hosts and the breakfast was...

Stayed here recently and shared a twin bedded room with my cousin while we were doing some family tree research. You couldn't meet a nicer couple than Kathleen & Eammon and the food was plentiful and delicious. The room was excellent, as were all the facilities and it is in an ideal location to discover this beautiful part of Ireland....

Have stayed at this B&B recently and found it very good. Overall rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast excellent especially the home baking. Tea/coffee is always on offer when you need it. My only complaint was there was no heating on even though it was cold out. Everything else was excellent

Beautiful home, easy to find, very pretty comfortable room. I highly recommend this B&B and would stay there again. Our room was lovely and the breakfast wonderful. They even made us tea on our arrival and yummy it was. This B&B was easy to find, plenty of parking space, and close to the center of town.

I arrived to Stradbally for a training course and was greeted with a very warm welcome. The bedroom was excellent and peace and quiet meant for an easy sleep. I was delighted that one evening I came back to find my towel in the shape of a swan! Origmai as well as home made scones and bread. A truely wonderful...

A warm welcome was given to us and the accommodation was spacious, well appointed and extremely clean. Breakfast was delicious. Full marks. Only snag is that the location in Stradbally more or less means driving to Portlaois for an evening meal...but it's an easy drive.
