We were two couples on motorcycles. Should have made sure we were on the ground floor as we were on the second and had to carry our stuff up the stairs. Front desk girl super friendly. Room very clean and large. Beds were comfy. Bathroom very large and shower hot. Breakfast was included. Would recommend and stay again
What a great experience we had, we stayed one night on our way from Nova Scotia to Ontario. We were greet by a friendly staff member and although she spoke little English and my French was quite in need of practice we made out great. The room was spotlessly clean. The hotel is an older hotel that has been kept modern and was quite. A continental breakfast(everything individually wrapped to maintain safety, a staff member was in the eating area to ensure safety was maintained and wiping constantly where folks touched such as the coffee handle and masks were a must while walking outside of your room. There are a couple of shopping centres close by and a few restaurants. Will would stay here again and be very comfortable knowing they are working to maintain a health and safe environment for their quests.…
This is a very nice motel with a retro flair. I was awoken by some construction work nearby. When departing I mentioned this to the owner. Surprisingly and very generously she cancelled my bill for the evening. Amazing customer service!!! I have stayed in many hotels over the last 35 years. Sometimes unfortunate things happen, but I have never had someone step up like this to make things right. Very impressive. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were very nice and the suite a very good price. The breakfast was very complete and the breakfast room surrounded by windows. I would happily stay here again.
We stayed here while driving from Ontario to Nova Scotia. Warm and friendly reception upon arrival. We had a comfortable, clean room and slept well. There was also a nice breakfast buffet included in the price. We would stay here again.
I stopped there incidentally and was very well welcomed by the owner on my way east to Gaspesie and then on my way back. A charming lady, who made me feel at home. Nice and confortable rooms, good breakfast, quiet. She gave me a couple adresses for supper in town. I can recommend this place.
I was not expecting a luxury place obviously, but the room we're in, had nothing special, and foremost, was not matching the advertising pictures that the Motel exhibits. It has been renovated, but I should say, partially renovated. The reception is very nicely renovated, but apart from that, I haven't seen any other renovated areas. Maybe, and honestly I hope this is the case, some rooms are (at least to take the ad pictures). When I booked, it looked decently priced for what was advertised, but given what we got, this is not anymore the case. Note, I noted an "average" noice appreciation, but that was without including the working area, close-by, which I expect to be temporary (how long?), which otherwise would have been "loud"
Laminate floors, clean & quiet. Big breakfast, including gluten free items. Close to shopping, scenic riverside trails, sunsets& geocaching if so inclined. Marie-Claude is the perfect hostess. We hope to return again.
This is an excellent location when passing through Quebec. They are also pet friendly, which is very useful for us. The rooms and very clean and have tile floors - another plus when having a dog. The room also includes a mini fridge and excellent array of TV channels for those looking to stay in. When exploring the property I also found a snowmobile trail, which could be very advantageous for outdoor explorers. The village in town is very quaint and has a selection of excellent shops and restaurants (all of which speak some level of English). The only thing I found disappointing was the continental breakfast being a little boring. Nevertheless, I would definitely stay here again.
On a recent trip to New Brunswick we chose to follow our wishes of some years to try an accommodation in the Kamouraska region and stopped at this Motel as it is located within the town of La Pocatiere. The Motel has seen better days as they appear to be in the process of freshening up the facility. We were greeted by the Manager in a professional manner. Our room was quite large and very clean. The bathroom, though not large, met our needs and all facilities that one could expect. There are a number of restaurants ion the area and we were very pleased with the facility recommended(Cafe Azimut) for dinner. Overall we were pleased with this facility though there are no notable features to point out.
My daughter and I stayed one night here in August. the front desk agent was wonderful. She is the type of person whom every business should have as their front staff. She was wonderful. So friendly and happy, she brings a smile to your face instantly. The room was very nice, newly renovated and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this motel as well as stay there again.
