Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the City. We stayed in the Duckpond Cottage which is small and compact, and has everything to make your stay comfortable. We loved the whole experience and so did our 6 month old puppy. Will definitely return in the winter to experience the snow in the region.

December 2016: Camped at the Klondyke before doing some cherry picking the following day. A great experience. We liked the idea that we could also bring along the pooch. He loved every minute of it. Will certainly be back to camp again!

We visited Klondyke at the end of the cherry season, and our hosts went out of their way to guide us to orchards where there were still a few cherries, and provided us a box of cherries from their own supplies. The visit turned out excellent - peaceful and quiet at the end of the season, and lovely thoughtful touches...

I came late and but pitched a tent and hung my hammock between two trees and the bottom end of the camp ground, which was suitably empty. I was just stopping over for the night, so didn't bring any wood, but there are enough half-barrel braai's/firepits if you wanna keep warm or braai some meat or wors. Decent ablution with...

We booked the farmhouse and the duck pond cottage for a weekend away with friends. The two are very close together so this worked well for our big group. The farmhouse is very large and rambling and has everything you could need while the duck pond cottage is small and compact. We strongly advise getting up early to pick cherries...

The camp site and bathrooms are very neat and clean. The showers doesn't stay hot for long so you have to be okey with taking a cold shower. There are a lot of bird sounds that you can listen to and lost of space to go for a walk on the farm. Perfect place if you want to get away...

Find out when the best time for cherry picking is. An excellent experience. Enjoy a lovely day out. Nothing more beautiful than a tree covered in cherries, red, purple and yellow. Buy the cherries younpick at a reasonable price. Relax under the trees afterwards and picnic enjoying your own fresly picked cherries.

For the past five years we've been going to Klondyke cherry farm every January before the season closes. My family absolutely love cherries. It's about a 2 and a bit hours drive from Cape Town. We usually go early and have a morning and afternoon picking session, intermittent with lunch. There are braai (barbecue) facilities. I've never tried the camping...

A beautiful, peaceful place. Great for a tech free family getaway. A scenic drive from the small, friendly town of Ceres. A just 2hrs from Cape Town. The cherry picking was our favorite part of the holiday with very friendly staff!

Very friendly welcome. I am pleased we came in the first week as the crop was not as big as usual and later visits from friends were disappointed. Kobus very helpful in advising where to look for the cherries. Pleased we stayed the night so could explore around the orchards. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage = clean and...
