Booked here as other accommodation in town was booked up. We were booked on the Ceres rail which is less than 2km away. Comfortable room with aircon and TV. Clean but a bit mean with bathroom items. Parking in front of hotel. Has its own restaurant with variable menu for supper. Breakfast is basic but can have English at extra...

We arrived at the guest house and when I wrang the bell to get somebody to open the side gate so we could get our 20 bicycles into the yard after cycling 100km and just arrived, I was asked by a very confused young man if we needed or keys.. No thanks, I'd like to get out the 42 degrees...

Our room had aircon, which was great because Ceres can get quite hot. Safe parking. Comfortable room, I just found it a little strange that my husband and I had to sleep on separate single beds instead of one double or queen. The staff members we had contact with could have been friendlier. And... I'm not sure it's such a...

With the friendly welcome you will receive to the cleanliness of the room, surely a place I would recommend if you need a place to stay in Ceres. Located in the heart of Ceres it makes everything easy accessible and walking distance from town.

New Owner/guest house in renovation. The place a terrible mess. In spite of all this we were offered to see our room!!...

This accommodation is a little oasis in a desert. Beautiful grounds, clean accommodation and excellent food in the restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff, secure parking - it's the only place to stay while in Ceres.

I have stayed at Village Guest House many times when taking clients birdwatching into the Tanqua Karoo. Louis and his staff go out of their way to make us feel welcome, every time. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and equipped with everything that a traveler needs (free WiFi, hair dryer, coffee & tea making facilities, air conditioning, Television, etc.)...

Place is beautifully furnished. A home away from home and the hosts make you feel welcome. We had a radiator problem and they went out of their way to get us someone to fix even though it was holiday and businesses were closed.
