We took our overseas guest on a day visit to INVERDOORN based on there advertising only to be totally dissapointed . Firstly the 2.5 hour drive as told to us is not real in anyway as approximately 30 to 40 mins of this is on a horrible disgusting dirt road . We arrived there at 10 am for the game...

We arrived at 10h30 and very kept waiting for an hour and half before we could get to our rooms. There was no further communication or even an offer of something to drink; We just sat there waiting. When we finally got to our chalet, the lady rushed her talk so quickly, I didn’t know what the hell was going...

Most enjoyable stay in Private Game Reserve in Tankwa Karoo. Exclusive lodge on large farm with various accommodation options including tented camp. Game drives to view Big 5 close-up and encounter with cheetahs. Excellent entertainment area and restaurant. A great break-away from city-life

First, I would like to point out that the drive from Cape Town is pretty long and on top of that just before getting to the reserve the 6km 'dirt road' is absolutely horrendous if you are travelling in a normal saloon vehicle ... Be aware that you will barely get above 15-20km ph ... Beyond that when you turn...

This private game reserve is a good option for those looking for a day or two's break from their beach vacation in Cape Town. This may be beyond the reach price wise for all but a handful of South Africans but for foreign tourists it offers fair value and a professional, polished safari experience. If you're paying this rate anyway...

We booked our experience through African Budget Safari. We travelled to the Park with African Eagle Tours, around 2.5 hours each way - both excellent drivers and comfortable mini van. We stayed overnight in the luxury chalets at Inverdoorn Lodge and therefore had included: 1 dinner, 1 breakfast, 2 lunches, 2 game drives and a cheetah encounter. The rooms were...

Dear beachbrums, Thank you for the feedback. It is always a pleasure to share our reserve and conservation efforts with passionate people. We do put the conservation of our animals first and focus on their well-being. That does differentiate us from the traditional parks - but we are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again soon....

What a fantastic time we had at Inverdoorn. We went on two "safari" rides and saw an amazing number of wildlife. The highlight was the Cheetah Encounter where we were able to spend time with and pet one of the Cheetah's being rehabilitated here. Our room was big, comfortable, and had everything we needed - including fast wifi even though...

Inverdoorn Game Reserve is about 2.5hrs drive from Cape Town In quite a dry and barren area. However, arrival at the accommodation shows there oases even in the remotest places. The luxury chalet we had booked was clean, tidy and well presented. We were welcomed with a complimentary drink under a tented area by friendly staff and shortly after settling...

unfortunately it is more like a zoo 3 lions 2 elephants 2 hippos 3 rhino's and they are fed, they are however in a wild environment. If this interests you then I would suggest a day trip rather than staying at the lodge it is very expensive and not good for either service or food, if you choose to stay...

This is a game reserve, which means the animals are enclosed (they have 100hectares, TONNES of space to be "free" many of the animals here had been saved from unfortunate situations. This is the kind of safari for an animal lover like myself. Our guide was absolutely fantastic & passed on so much information. We saw a lot of different...
