This was my last stop on a tip to tip bike trip of the Confederation Trail and I couldn't have asked for a better ending. The room was clean. Had a super comfy bed. Shower. Television if I desired to watch anything. Portable A/C unit. The best part was the location. A minute walk to the ocean and a beautiful...

The owner,Vera was very accommodating and caring to me and went out of her way to welcome me. She made me feel a home which was very important on a long journey of not knowing anyone. They have just opened a new cafe next to the motel that offered some delicious food made with heart by Valerie. Get the Lobster...

This motel was better than expected. Renovated room, french doors to our private deck. The beach is literally 30 metres away, you can go barefoot from your room, and the beach is very private. There are tuna fishing charters in the harbour, 100 metres away. There's also a café that serves the best clam chowder and lobster rolls. The owner...

EXACTLY as I envisioned! Other peoples reviews were spot on. The most comfortable beds of the 5 places we stayed at in 2 weeks from Cape Breton to Nova Scotia! But that was not as important as the peaceful setting which was as close to the beach and 'heaven' as we could ever want. The owner Vera was very accommodating,...

This is a beautiful location. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. I travelled from ontario with my 2 sons and daughters in law. Veranda the owner is super friendly and helpful. The little restaurant steps away run by Valerie is cozy and has great food. I am saddened to have to leave here. I would come back and will...

Cute little room, clean although the bathtub is losing enamel. Very friendly owner, fantastic location 30 seconds to the water. Fishing village with boats and boathouses nearby. Stunning sunsets. Friendly neighbours around. Great spot to just relax. It would e helpful to add a shelf or 2 in the room as there isn't surface anywhere to place things since the...

Incredible location, wonderful staff, and cozy rooms! Waking up to the sound of the ocean is a wonderful experience and walking on their deserted beach is good for the soul! Watching the sun go down on the beach and enjoying the company of several playful foxes should be witnessed by everyone!

This was a sweet little motel, tastefully decorated and a lovely owner who was very accommodating. A short stroll to the beach where you can sit and sip on wine and watch the sunset. Right on the wharf where you can watch the fishing boats come in with their prize tuna.

We choose this motel on line because of its proximity to the ocean which was a few hundred yards directly behind our room. Although this is an older motel it appears that lots of improvements have been made. The owner, Vera was more than accommodating as was the cleaning lady. This housekeeping room is equipped with pretty much all you...
