We stayed for 7 days. The campground was well maintained, the staff helpful and easy going and the overall vibe relaxed. The sites do not offer any privacy but that is more than made up for by the view, the gorgeous( almost deserted ) beach and great swimming. You get a whole lot for your money.

Love this chill campground on the edge of the island. Great little cabins with power. Friendly folks that run the place. Definitely recommend this for couples and families. Options to be social or recluse. Beach is a bit wild but gorgeous.

Our favorite campground in PEI. Tent site right at the cliff, overlooking the beach and the ocean. Stunning location to watch the sunset. Very well kept grounds and facilities. Very welcoming and dog friendly. Beautiful beach to swim and relax. A quiet paradise in PEI. Only two things to note. Not very close to restaurants or grocery stores and no privacy at the beachfront tent sites. If you have respectful neighbors it is no big deal and the breathtaking view and location make up for it.

First of all, what an awesome view. We spent 3 nights here in a tent right by the ocean! The campground seems to be primarily used by people with trailers and they have some small cabins. The final night was very windy and we were put up, free of charge, in a cabin that was empty because they were going to start renovations on it. We did not have to ask. They were concerned about us in the tent and suggested it. They also helped us move all our gear into the cabin. There is a kitchen shelter here with a lounge area. They have coffee makers and a microwave for anyone to use. They also serve awesome ice cream! COWS gets a lot of press in PEI but this ice cream is also local and called ADL. I tried both and this one, in my opinion, is creamier. My only caution with this location would be that it is probably a 15 to 20 minute drive to get to anything...grocery store, restaurant, etc.

We loved our 4 nights at Campbells Cove on PEI. This campground is right on the water so sitting next to the beach by a fire was a highlight in the evening. This is a family owned park. The owner, Charlie, has made a lot of improvements since he purchased it from the provincial park system and it shows.

My husband and I just visited PEI for the first time and were blessed to have spent two days at Campbell's Cove Campground. There is something truly magical about this wonderful place. From the moment we arrived Nathan made us feel welcome and went out of his way to be helpful and accommodating. He even came by (unasked) with dry wood after an unexpected downpour because he assumed ours got drenched (it did) and all this with a big smile. The spot is secluded and offers a spectacular view of the ocean. We had privacy but we also treated to the heart warming sounds of children having the best time in the background. It's really a family spot and everyone treats each other with respect and a smile. We loved exploring the amazing beach and woke up at 5:00 am to see the sunrise that took my breath away. It is a memory I will cherish forever. What a gem - cannot recommend it highly enough and can't wait to go back.

I remembered going here 10 years ago, and I loved it. However, last summer I stayed a night here. On top of being more expensive than most places, it was unfortunately a really crappy night. We look back at that camping trip, and laugh because of how bad it was. The campsite was near the cliff, so it had a gorgeous view of the beach, which was literally plastered with bird crap. We tried to go for a walk, but it was hard not to step on poop so we went back to our site. I know that's not really the campgrounds fault, but just don't expect to want to swim there... There is no trees or privacy, it feels like you are on a joined camping trip with about 10 other family at any given time. Our site was a giant ant hill/ flying ant hill. And lots of wasps- It was hard to eat, bugs flying in the food constantly.

After spending a week at The Cove a couple of years back, we decided to return seeing as we had to take the ferry. I want to thank Shannon and Katie for taking such great care of us. Still a beautiful campsite, great views ( we had site # 43 ). No complaints at all, clean bathrooms, so glad that they really make sure you recycle to the fullest. Only campground I would stay in if we ever decide to go back...Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice quiet campground.
