From the moment we arrived at Rayavadee Resort, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff here truly embody the essence of service, providing a level of care that feels more like a 6-star experience. Their dedication to ensuring every guest feels happy and valued is palpable, making every interaction a joy.
The housekeeping service was nothing short of exceptional, with twice-daily visits that included thoughtful touches like dried fruits, cookies, coffee, and plenty of water. It felt like a personal retreat every time we returned to our room.
Breakfast was a highlight of each day, offering an impressive mix of Ă la carte options and a delicious buffet. On the rare occasion that something was unavailable, a simple request was all it took to receive delightful surprises. I was never disappointed!
Our included dinner at the Thai restaurant was pure bliss. The flavors were exquisite, showcasing the best of Thai cuisine, and it made for an unforgettable dining experience.
We stayed in a deluxe pavilion, beautifully surrounded by lush gardens and conveniently located near Railey Beach and the lobby. The staff made every effort to accommodate our room requests, and we were very pleased with our choice. While the morning speedboats at Nammao Beach brought some noise, it quickly became a minor detail amidst the tranquility of the resort.
The pavilion itself was a luxurious two-story apartment equipped with everything we could need. The cozy living room and nice patio surrounded by greenery provided a perfect retreat, ideal for two. I would certainly book the deluxe pavilion again without hesitation.
Among the stunning beaches, my favorite was Phra Nang Beach, which was ideal for swimming. The landscape is breathtaking, with cliff-like mountains rising dramatically from the water, creating an idyllic setting.
The location is also fantastic, with Railey Village just a short walk away, offering an array of bars and restaurants to explore.
I can’t express enough how much I loved my stay at Rayavadee. Every aspect was simply perfect. Nestled in tropical forests teeming with wildlife and breathtaking gardens, this resort stands out as one of my best hotel experiences. I frequently stay at 5-star hotels, but Rayavadee is truly special. I can’t wait to return!

Me and My dad stayed at Rayavadee only three days ago for seven nights and we can both agree that it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. It was our first time at Railay and we didn't know what to expect but were greeted kindly by the hotel boat captain where we were taken directly to the resort and our luggage was taken off and brought straight to our rooms. The staff were very polite and we were given cold towels and a thai beverage during reception. The hotel is quite big and can be difficult to navigate without a map however there is a buggy service which stops very close to the rooms, for us this was not needed as the hotel environment was so lovely to look around, The monkeys in the hotel are such a great sight and on the contrary to what other people may say they really are harmless unless provoked or refused food (don't walk around with food in your hands).
The pool on the beachfront was beautiful and it was very fun to watch the tourists get off and on the boats throughout the day across Railay beach. The security guard is always watching and the hotel is very safe, keeping hotel guests assured that members of the public do not enter. This beach is public however there is another beach on the other side of the hotel, Phranang, which is very quiet and more secluded if that's what you prefer. The restaurants in the hotel provide amazing food and you cannot fault it, especially breakfast in which you can choose from a menu as well as the buffet which changes every day. There is a very good selection of cold cuts, cheeses, bread, fruit and veg, rice and noodles dishes and much more.
Overall our experience at Rayavadee was perfect and we couldn't have asked for more. Thankyou so much. I'm sure we will be back!!

A hidden oasis. The hotel is situated between Railay, Nammao and Phranang beach. It’s an unbeatable location, the wildlife is just phenomenal, Monkeys, Lizards are just constantly seen roaming around, it’s simply a brilliant experience. Railay beach is really busy and probably 50 plus longtail boats at any one time, these do give you an opportunity to explore local islands or go to Ao Nang, for shopping. However they do bring in lots of tourists, the hotel security are great at managing this and are all very friendly. We were staying in a Family pool villa, it’s a fantastic space, we have two children aged 11 and 14, the villa has two large bedrooms, large lounge and a lovely outdoor private pool. The hotel has three main restaurants, Thai, European and Asian, these are all of a great standard but ultimately and as expected higher prices than typical Thailand. The staff are fantastic so friendly and helpful. We went on two trips organised by the hotel, Koh Klang eco island discovery. This was amazing to see how the local Thai people live, we travelled on a tuk tuk to meet a Thai family, had lunch on the river, somewhere we wouldn’t have ever thought of eating, overall a real eye opener for all the family, certainly makes you appreciate how fortunate we are. Second trip was to Hong island, a beautiful beach and scenery, again a great experience. Our guides for both trips were brilliant. There is plenty to do, our boys had a squash lesson and a Thai boxing lesson, we used kayaks/paddle boards, and the gym (which is small but I believe is being updated). A minor niggle is the housekeeping was a be hit and miss, for example, leftover fruit was sometimes left in the villa for a while, pool towels were not always replaced and the blinds were left closed during the day, a bit strange really. I believe the garden staff also once a day help to clear any rubbish left by tourists or the tide from all three beaches, they do a great job, tourists please take your rubbish with you or bin it!! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, couples or families.

Having visited Rayavadee in Krabi several times, I am continually impressed by its unique blend of natural beauty, exceptional service, and luxurious accommodations. Nestled on the stunning Railay Beach, flanked by dramatic limestone cliffs and accessible only by boat, Rayavadee offers an exclusive escape that feels like a private paradise.
The resort is famous not just for its breathtaking location but also for its lush gardens and the local wildlife. During my stays, I've enjoyed the delightful sight of monkeys playfully roaming the grounds and even venturing near the pool area, adding a charming element of adventure to the experience.
The villas are luxurious and provide all the comforts one could expect from a world-class resort, with private pools and spacious, elegantly designed interiors. Dining at Rayavadee is a culinary journey, with several restaurants offering everything from traditional Thai cuisine to international dishes, all set against the backdrop of Krabi's iconic scenery.
One of the highlights of Rayavadee is its beaches, known to be among the best in Thailand. The crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches are ideal for relaxation and water activities. Although the beaches are public and can get busy during peak times, the mornings and late afternoons provide quieter moments to enjoy the serene setting.
Rayavadee's commitment to service is evident in the staff's attention to detail and readiness to ensure every guest's stay is memorable. Whether it's arranging a special dinner on the beach or providing insights into the local area, the staff go above and beyond.
For those seeking a luxury resort with a perfect mix of natural beauty, privacy, and top-notch amenities, Rayavadee in Krabi is an exceptional choice. It remains a favorite for my Thai getaways, and I look forward to returning soon.

We spent 5 nights in a pavilion. The hotel is located on East Railay Bay Beach and is surrounded by nature. There are many plant species to admire, you can even see monkeys running around freely. + Quiet location (except on the beach, where there are many day tourists; we liked Phra Nang Beach the most) + Room service was always satisfactory + The pavilion was very spacious and clean + Breakfast was well worth it (there was a menu and a buffet with a large selection) + Various water and land activities such as island hopping, elephant sanctuary and much more. The tour was always well organized by the hotel. + We really enjoyed the treatment in the spa. The staff created a positive atmosphere that made us feel comfortable. The price-performance ratio was right for us. -The hotel can only be reached by boat. This means you are less flexible and dependent on the longtail boats that are moored on site. -The staff was very friendly. There were a few people who were too pushy, for example, when we took the last bite, the dishes were immediately cleared away or the half-full glass was refilled, and the question "How does the food taste?" every five minutes or so. At times we felt a bit harassed and uncomfortable. We assume that the staff are trained this way, which is not a bad thing in principle. How committed a staff should be depends of course on personal preference. For us it was simply "too much". -We liked the lunch menu from the Grotto restaurant the best. We were not happy with the price-performance ratio, especially at dinner. There were various restaurants to choose from - including French and Asian cuisine. In our opinion, the selection was more for a gourmet palate. We missed the vegetarian selection and western cuisine. -Despite the "Do not disturb" sign, we were "disturbed" several times by the staff later in the evening. It is nice when the staff ask us again about room service. For us, this is not necessary if room service has already been done in the morning. What bothered us most was that the sign was ignored and the door was simply opened. Conclusion: The hotel is certainly a good choice for nature and plant lovers and for those looking for relaxation. Families and older people also feel at home in the hotel. What you also have to bear in mind is that you are dependent on the boat and everything is spread out. (approx. 20 minutes to the nearest pier).

Service: The Thai people are generally friendly, but the Riyabadi staff are much more friendly and warm. Impressed that the customer's demands are being listened to as much as possible, and that they are trying to get rid of the inconvenience. (Accurate service content is less likely to be exploited by similar needs) Rooms: The cheapest room (Deluxe Pavilion). There is no shortage of space for a 2+1 family. It's just that if there's a child who walks on the stairs, it can be dangerous, and it can be burdensome for seniors. All of the rooms are unique Bungalows located in the Gardens Seaside, so if you don't want to look for a room, you can relax. But the tropical gardens are very beautifully managed and it's a special experience. Facilities: I didn't use the pool and the beaches and the tennis courts and they were really nice. Prakan Beach is not a private beach, but you can enjoy the facilities of the Resort and enjoy watching climbers. The swimming pool and sunbeds are not crowded at all, and if the weather is good, you can take the best photos to post on SNS. Breakfast: Not many falsehoods, but each one has a character. Compared to the famous hotel restaurants for breakfast, hot dishes are a little weak, but there are no problems with breakfast. The Groto: The atmosphere is best. Dinner can be satisfied if you put the point on having a special experience without regard to the taste or price of the food. Sunshine is not always guaranteed in Ugi. It seemed more satisfying to have played at Prana Beach in the afternoon and ordered a simple menu. Total: Looking forward to a more luxurious Resort or a modern hotel, can you be so satisfied? It was a vacation where there was almost no possibility (the only possibility was a short vacation)

The hotel is located next to the beautiful Phra Nang beach, and there are 2 more beaches - Railay, where there is also a beautiful pool and 1 more beach, but it is not suitable for swimming. You can get to the hotel by hotel boat. The entire area is located in a beautiful tropical garden, the "cottages" are on 2 floors and ensure maximum privacy. Breakfasts are combined buffet and ala carte in the main restaurant, dinners are available in 4 restaurants. He was very nice to the staff, they willingly accommodated everything (negative reviews of the staff must come from people who have a problem with themselves...) By the pool and on the sunbeds by the beach (the hotel does not have a private beach, but the sunbeds are just above it) they pour water, bring smoothies and popsicles as attention. There are umbrellas by the pool, by Phra Nang beach you can lie under the trees, but even so around 1 p.m. there is a lack of shade. Clean rooms, cleaning twice a day, water, cookies, fruit and tea replenished in the room every day. The only thing I would complain about is a bit of a stench here and there in the resort (there are a lot of ponds, so probably from them) and maybe I would also expect a little attention when leaving... Otherwise, I rate the hotel very positively and it made it into my TOP 5.

Without a doubt the most incredible resort I’ve ever stayed in. The location was second to none, with a variety of beaches with plenty of areas for lounging and cocktails. The grounds are very well maintained, with a more wild aesthetic that suits the location perfectly. It was fun to see the cute dusky leaf monkeys and their babies swinging in the trees in the evenings around our pavilion and alongside the pool.
Our pavilion was lovely. The furnishings and attention to detail really makes you feel like you’re somewhere special.
No review of Rayavadee can be complete without mentioning the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone has a greeting and a warm smile - from the restaurant staff to the activity coordinators to the groundkeepers.
Rayavadee is a special place that I hope to return to again some day.

First of all - Thank you, Luna and the entire staff for the wonderful stay that we had. We can’t wait to come back. Luna was amazing, she took care of each of our details, and arranged a great birthday for me. More than that, she gave this handwritten/hand drawn card which is precious and goes to show how much she and the Rayavadee team take strides.
Now on to the property, it’s set in the midst of jungle/cliff and is a must-visit for those who love to experience nature first hand. You can easily access 3 beaches within minutes. The villas are spacious and tiny details are take care of - like the after sun lotion, the cookies being refilled, the fruits and flowers on the table.
I loved the food at all the 4 restaurants, especially the Thai one at Krua Phranang, and the breakfast and afternoon tea spread.
