Unfortunately booked 2 nights at this horrible place. We were standing by the reception counter- being blatantly ignored by the staff- one staff member was busy putting lotion on the other staff member and rubbing it in! Wtf. Finally their lotion session was done they helped us- their attitude stinks and they are rude. We had to pay 1000 Baht...

Stayed here a weekend in early February. The room we had was overpriced for what it was. Room was not very clean, two very uncomfortable beds, grotty bathroom. Far back of the resort with no wifi connection - not a deal breaker but we had to go to reception to get any. The real deal breaker was the incredibly rude...

We first went to Tonsai because of budget accommodations with good access to climbing, but we got sick within 24 hours there. Visit Tonsai for climbing but don't stay or eat there; it's disgusting. Diamond cave resort offers decent budget accommodations in the much nicer railay beach. Our bungalow had air conditioning, a small fridge, and hot showers. However, the...

I am writing this review, my view & thoughts based on my experience in January 2017 at 1500THB/Night (cca 40Euros/Night). It is going to be about Diamond Cave Resort and Railay Beach generally but also other information. This review is not for backpackers who are coming for whatever reason and wouldn't bother with some issues here, this is rather for...

Paid nearly $140 for a family room on booking.com. Breakfast not included. Room had 2 small double beds. The room and bedding stank of mildew (almost unbearable). Room had a blocked drain. Staff were unbelievably curt and rude. For example we were given two towels for a family of four and had to beg for an extra two. Hotel very...

Stayed here for two nights in January, room was pricey at 1500THB/Night. No aircon, only a very loud fan which didn't alleviate the heat at night in the slightest. The bathroom stench was unbearable, unsure if it was from the drains or water but extremely unpleasant. The bed was comfortable enough. Pool had lots of insects flying around. Lots of...

A hotel greatly needing a renovation and new management and policies. Stay if there is noting else available and you don't mind begging for toilet paper, water, and towels daily. Wifi only in common areas so the lobby is always full of zombies blocking the way staring at their non responding phones. On the plus side, the restaurant manager, Mr....

On the positive side, the pool is great and there are nice seating areas outside around it to relax at. The breakfast is nice too. Location-wise, we found it pretty perfect. It is mere steps away from the East Railay beach (which isn't really a beach but has nice spots along it to eat and relax) and about a 7...
