We stayed three nights and the longer we stayed the more we enjoyed being there. A beautiful building, peaceful and relaxing environment, beautiful countryside and the most welcoming hosts you will ever find. Alexsandra's meals were delicious and Joan made you feel like a long-lost friend. It is a bit isolated and a bit quiet for some, but if that...

La Sala de Camos – we highly recommend this wonderful tranquil retreat set in a valley of pines, poplars and Spanish oaks. We visited in September and the garden and swimming pool seemed like a green oasis after the crowded streets of Barcelona. Sadly we only had 2 nights to enjoy the ambience of the garden, the medieval building, and...

This hotel was wonderful, it is set in the middle of the countryside. The hotel has a pool and also a guestroom with a ping pong table(free) and various board games. The room was very cute and the hosts were wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel La Sala de Camos. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night, but had I known how wonderful it was going to be I would have stayed longer. We didn't have any trouble finding the hotel with our GPS and managed to drive/fit our rental car into the tiny courtyard which...

We stayed at “La Sala de Camos” for 5 night. We cannot thank enough Joan and Aleksandra for their hospitality. We were traveling in France for 2 weeks prior and "La Sala de Camos” was our first hotel in Catalonia. “La Sala de Camos” is a very beautiful hotel located outside the little city of Banyoles in the forest. The...

I stayed here for a week in July on my own to spend some time cycling. It was recommended to me by Gironacycling and I'm so glad they sent me there. Joan & Sandra's hospitality is second to none, they couldn't have been more helpful but in a lovely unobtrusive way. I fell off my bike on the trip and...

This hotel was in a lovely spot. Unfortunately the area around it is quite suburban and unattractuve. The hotel and the grounds are lovely, the owners are warm and helpful. Definitely eat dinner there; the food is great!

Beautiful little converted 13C Rectory with 5 bedrooms. Not much English - but we coped perfectly well with a mix of English/French and our four words of Spanish. Excellent meals, a pool to cool off in and sensible wine and beer prices (€6 for a nice bottle of local Rosé). Signed well from Camos (which your GPS will find OK)....

We spent two wonderful nights and wished it could have been more, because of the fantastic warm welcome from Joan and Sandra and five star service through out our stay. The setting was breathtaking, and the past history behind the hotel gives it great character and creates a wonderful atmosphere. The bedroom we stayed in was to a very high...

The Inn is very beautiful. The owners are attentive and gracious. They do not speak English well, but manage to understand and get you everything you need and want. Breakfast was very good with plenty to eat. The coffee was excellent. We ate dinner at the hotel one night and were delighted - great food! The grounds of the hotel...
