Park Farm Hotel garners appreciation from guests for its commendable amenities such as the spa and pool, and the comfort of its rooms, although there are mentions of certain areas needing a refresh. While opinions on value vary, with some guests questioning the pricing, others feel the quality justifies the cost. The staff often receive accolades for their professionalism and warmth, despite isolated comments about service speed.
The hotel's location near Norwich is frequently praised for convenience, and the atmosphere is generally found to be luxurious and inviting, notwithstanding the occasional noise issue noted by some visitors. Rooms are deemed spacious and clean, yet a few guests suggest maintenance and modernization are due.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed at park farm using their 'suite Sundays' deal. Our room was clean, big and well equipped and matched pictures online. We had a Jacuzzi bath which was amazing. I was slightly disappointed with the 'chocolate addition' I had paid £12.95 for, I had seen online others had received boxes full of Gnaw chocolates where as we were given two random bars placed on the bed. My sister stayed at this hotel last year and received this box of gnaw chocolates for free in her room, I wouldn't pay for this 'Extra' again. The Staff were all very welcoming and helpful especially the ladies on reception. I had a small mis-hap in the bar where i spilt my drink all over the table and myself, although this was my fault I was a bit sad that the waitress didn't offer me a replacement (These things happen!) and didn't check if we needed to move tables or I needed anymore napkins to dry myself off. The food was lovely, my husband said his steak was the best he has had. Breakfast again was lovely, lots to pick from. We spent an hour in the pool and Jacuzzi which was lovely, quiet and clean. The ceiling about the Jacuzzi does need a little tidy up, I found myself staring at the damp patches and cracks on the ceiling. The changing rooms were nice and large, the wet items machine didn't work and you are only given one towel per person but you could probably ask for more if needed. The gentleman on the spa reception wasn't the most cheery but got the job done of signing us in and explaining how to use the facilities. Our night away cost us roughly £200 this included breakfast, main and dessert and a few drinks. This would be a lovely wedding venue which is currently having refurbishments ready for the 2020 season. Great location and large car park. All in all a good stay but there are a few things that could of made it better.

We stayed one night at Park Farm hotel and what a pleasant little gem. Lovely clean room, we opted for an executive room, although decor does vary slightly from the website.
I booked a three course meal for myself and my husband and the food was upmarket, cheap for the high standard!
We also utilised the bar. Face masks not needed once seated. We like our spirits and were surprised how reasonable they were for such a nice hotel!
All staff were polite too.
Well set out with covid regulations, hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel.
Room freebies such as shampoo etc had been removed from bedrooms but were available on request. (Easier for cleaning). Our room lacked teaspoons which made stirring a hot chocolate difficult but it wasn't a big deal!
Breakfast was well adapted from a buffet to take service and tables were spaced out to cater for covid guidelines.
Only a couple of minor grumbles:
I booked this hotel for the pool leisure facilities, Sauna area remained closed (not a problem as I knew that on booking). Pool area was very nice and clean, however in our opinion too many people were in the pool. 3 couples and us. That doesn't sound a lot I know but we felt uncomfortable as everyone was trying to lane swim and no way could you keep "covid distance" apart. We only stayed five minutes. More beds also needed to keep apart, or beds need moving. We couldn't access the jacuzzi either because only one family etc allowed at a time (fair enough! But we got fed up of waiting). Staff told me they can allow 19 people into this area, in my opinion this is way too many!
Hotel is situation in beautiful grounds and 5 minutes from Norwich Thickthorn park and ride, making very easy access to Norwich city centre.
So would we stay again?
Yes I wouldn't hesitate! Although probably not during covid so we could relax a little more. But well done Park Farm for exceeding expectations!
So the question is...

I stayed here for 1 night during a week day. We stayed in room 11 and felt extremely spoilt with the fantastic modern room that boasted of large shower facilities, huge and comfortable bed. Absolutely stunning room.
We paid an extra £5 each to use the leisure facilities and was more than impressed with the lovely swimming/spa area.
Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and well presented very well along with the fab cocktails.
Staff were overly friendly and a good breakfast in the morning.
Amazing value for money and I would highly recommend it!

We spent two nights in the Beech suite. The room is spacious and tastefully decorated. It was also very warm when we arrived, despite storm Dennis passing through, and most of the time we kept the radiator turned off. The bed is large and comfortable although firm. Note however that there is no actual air conditioning in the room. If you want ventilation, you will have to open a window.
On the first night we ate in the restaurant. You will be asked to sit in the bar, where your order will be taken. Only when your first course is ready are you allowed into the actual restaurant. We found this system a little strange and slightly uncomfortable. There is a suspicion that it either allows the hotel to sell you more drinks, or to get more people through. However we couldn't fault the staff or the food, which is reasonably priced given its quality.
Breakfast was a mixed bag. The main items are plentiful and seem pretty high quality. However some of the fresh fruit was clearly past its best, and gave me a "fizzy" sensation on the tongue, which probably means it's started fermenting; not good. We asked for coffee which came in a metal pot, and it was so weak we asked for it to be replaced with espresso, which was much better. The tables at breakfast also seem very close together.
We very much enjoyed the swimming pool, which is nice and warm. The gentleman handing out towels even gave us a pound coin each, needed to operate the lockers (and of course we gave them back afterwards!) However some more private changing areas would be nice. Apparently the women's changing area has no private spaces at all. Also on trying to take a shower in the men's changing room, there seemed to be no warm water at all.
Again on the subject of water: on taking a shower in our suite in the morning, the hot water stopped altogether for several minutes.
We also discovered that the jacuzzi/spa bath/whatever you call in our room was not working. It made a noise but there were no jets of water.
Now this is a lovely hotel with some excellent staff, but it is disappointing when paying a pretty high price for what ought to be a luxurious experience, that a number of fundamental issues occur. We would think twice about going for one of the suites again.

We recently spent two nights at Park Farm and had a beautiful Beech Suite which offered plenty of space, gorgeous bathroom with jacuzzi bath and a very comfortable bed. However we felt our stay was not as luxurious as we were expecting. Firstly, I do appreciate that changes had to be made to accommodate Covid 19 restrictions but not supplying toiletries in a room costing £200 a night we felt unacceptable. We were given some when we asked but if they can provide a bottle of fizz (paid for) and leave in our room why can they not provide shower gel? The room was not serviced during our stay so we had wet towels for the duration. The tea and coffee facilities were in the room but two tea bags is never enough for a three day stay. No glasses were available in the room, no complimentary bottle of water even, not even a box of tissues. The small things make a hotel stay a luxury and for what we paid we felt it was less than average. Having to book a breakfast slot is not really relaxing as have to be up and ready and only early slots were available. At dinner the first evening we were given a menu whilst having a drink and ordered from the menu provided. When we were shown to our table we spotted the specials menu that we were not offered. I did ask the staff member why and her reply was “well is there anything you would have ordered?” No apology was offered. On asking for salt and pepper for our meal no black pepper only sachets of white. My husbands steak was average and my meal was over cooked samphire and overall was tasteless- very disappointing. Needless to say our second evening we cancelled our dinner reservation and ate out. We felt no attempt was made to make our stay special or memorable and have heard such amazing reviews about Park Farm we left unimpressed.

Stayed in a classic room for 2 nights whilst touring in Norfolk. My only issue was that the rooms were very warm at night, a fan was in the room but it was unusually hot for the UK, 30° plus.
Everything else was really good, great communication on booking, sorted out our needs and gave us good advice on area and hotel. Got a better rate by booking direct over the phone. Staff were exceptionally helpful in both reception and restaurant (sorry I didn’t take your names)
Hotel had good CV19 measures in place, screens at reception, one way systems, hand sanitiser, face masks or shields on all resturant staff. Evening meals were of a really good standard and choice, had three different types of wine all good quality and not overly expensive. Really nice local bitter on draught (Edith Cavell) well worth trying.
Breakfast really nice, full English, porridge (made with soya milk at one of our party request). No issues with changing meal times and again the staff were really friendly. Tables are well spread out in their Colney Suite and staff ensure they comply with distancing. Had to always ask for sauce or sugar but I suspect they are not left out on the table due to CV19 restrictions.
Rooms were good with all the facilities you’d expect, comfortable bed, great shower.
Used the pool and jacuzzi where numbers permitted in the area were monitored by staff so we had to wait a few minutes for other to leave once before we could enter but again CV19 restrictions.
Grounds are really nice and plenty of parking which appears secure as the hotel is a long way back from the road.
Would definitely stay here again. Well worth a visit.

We did a quick overnight stay after dropping our daughter off to the University of East Anglia, which is only about 10 minutes away. It was our first trip anywhere other than the supermarket since lockdown. Had we had time, we would have used the fabulous looking pool and gym and tried a spa treatment. It was the ideal place for a mental pause for teary parents before hitting the domestic whirlpool back home. What a sanctuary it is. It is quite clear it has been redecorated and not one hair is out of place. There are plenty of quiet places to sit, some with glass walls looking onto courtyards. We started with tea and cake and they were able to provide two different gluten free cakes instead of the usual just a brownie.
Our executive suite was immaculate and tastefully decorated but very dark. I know they are trying to provide privacy (it faces a courtyard and glass wall to a public area) but a dense shrub growing so high in front of the window makes the room very gloomy, especially after walking through airy and light corridors in sunshine. The net curtains would be enough. Perhaps executives are expected to be in the bar or on their laptops so won’t notice. Bathroom was immaculate and the spa bath a welcome relaxer. Very basic toiletries for Covid which is a shame but better for the environment than all those plastic bottles. Very quiet room generally.
Covid measures looked organised and adhered to and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Over 90% of guests wore masks.
The only negative was the main meal. The menu looked interesting tempting and the food was ok but these days many pubs do this kind of menu with flair and taste. My steak was overdone and the sauce watery and the chips only just hot and rather dry and tasteless. My husband’s burger was dry and basic with nothing but a plain bun, raw onion and a bit of greenery. These things are easily fixed and would make this hotel score a resounding 11 out of 10. We will be back no doubt and will give dinner a second chance.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night. Room was lovely, clean, comfy large bed, bathroom had a great rain shower with plenty of hot water and a big bath. Soap in a pump and small bar plus tiny shampoo and conditioner but no moisturiser. Had a serene view. Masks worn throughout the public areas.
Pool was quite strong on chlorine or whatever they put in it so would recommend goggles if you like to go under the water. You can’t really complain about that in the current situation. Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all limited to one family group at a time - so 2 people generally. Relies on good manners and friendly fairness which was not an issue. Changing rooms are quite functional. Ladies will need a £1 coin and men use a code for their lockers. They do have a spa (book ahead) and a small gym, which is also used by non hotel guests.
Restaurant however, sadly, did let the side down. Although the food was good, we had booked a dinner slot, which we imagined was to spread the attendance of diners, but had to wait over 15 minutes for wine list and order to be taken and an hour for food. We only had one course and finished our wine in the conservatory bar area. In the morning they serve breakfast here and again service was slow. I had to ask for something 3 times before it was brought to the table and remind them of something else I had ordered that had not arrived. This is such a shame as all the reception, gym and spa staff were very helpful and proficient. Grounds of the hotel are also very green and abundant with flowers, would’ve been nice to sit outside had the weather permitted.

We have stayed at this hotel frequently and this time we chose to stay in the Boutique Suite. This suite is the 3rd expensive in the suite series and we were disappointed. Firstly this suite is shown as room 12 and not an actual suite unlike the website. I feel that it was disappointing as it needed some tlc as the finish on this room was tired compared to the other rooms we had stayed in. The biggest downfall on this room is that it is situated next to the kitchen fans so until service finishes it sounds like an aircraft taking off. As we have not been able to visit during lockdown the hotel has undergone some refurb work. The area around the pool is looking better and the restaurant has been split between the original restaurant and the Colney suite to encompass maximum social distancing. The Colney suite is light, airy and has an exceptional high standard of refurb. All in all we had another wonderful stay but would not chose to stay in the Boutique Suite again personally I feel this suite should be the cheapest suite on offer.

We needed a break but are still very hesitant about things. After reading a lot of trip advisor reviews we decided to book the Park Farm Hotel and if we didn't feel comfortable we'd come home again.
There was clearly a lot of work undertaken at the hotel to make sure that they protected the guests and the staff. Clear markings were everywhere, timed entries for breakfast, staff were temperature checked as they came in, masks were to be worn in the hotel except at the bar and in the restaurants.
We soon adjusted to the routine and felt the staff were all dedicated to make our stay enjoyable despite all the restrictions.
The pool is fabulous and again the leisure team are helpful and friendly,
Breakfast was served quickly and nothing was too much trouble. All staff were friendly and helpful.
We ate in the bar one evening and the Angus Beef burgers are delicious.
The room was not serviced although I think you could request it but we easily obtained more tea coffee biscuits and loo roll from reception.
I had telephoned and asked for a room with a walk in shower and was told that all the rooms had this. On arrival our room had a shower over the bath. I spoke to reception and there were no spare rooms that day but we were moved the following day. Both rooms were lovely.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and family (in fact I already have).
It was a lovely stay and great location to explore lovely Norfolk.

I don’t know about vouchers for this hotel ,but our children had booked up for us as a surprise , and we had dinner , bed and breakfast , we also had cocktails on arrival, afternoon tea and chocolates and rose petals in our room. I’m sure you could ask them at Park Farm Hotel and they would be able to advise you.
This was included in our stay but we didn't use it.
