If you don't want to be in one of the major dead sea towns, this is a great alternative. It's about a 20-30 minute drive to the dead sea, Ein Gedi and Masada in a little dessert town. The cottages are very clean and comfortable, with a nice double bedroom and kitchen on the ground floor and a comfortable loft space...

When travelling with children things can get complicated. Belfer Cabins was the perfect location for kids to let go and for us to enjoy and relax without worry. They have goats and chickens that the kids can visit. The owners have a lovely garden you can pick some vegetable from for your own diner. The kitchen is adequate to prepare...

I have been there with my family for a one night, sleeping in the wooden cottages, and it was really fine.

It is a very quite place right next to the Jordan Border. It is a good location to visit very interesting places (Dead Sea, Masda, Ein Gedi, Tel Arad, Small Crater etc.) between 20 an 80 km from the place. So you can stay a few days and make day tours. The owners are very nice. It is a small...

I agree with many positive reviews of the Dead Sea Cabins. The place was very clean and comfortable (great design!), the service was very friendly and we felt like part of the family. We were even invited to pick some tomatoes from the owners' orchard. There was not much in the way of dining choice in the village, but there...

We can certainly recommend this cabin. It is located in a small community near the Jordan border. We were with our family (5 persons) and it was big enough for us. The reception by Michaela and Jacob was very friendly. A plate with dates was waiting for us! The community is surrounded by a fence. The gate is opened by...

Lovely cabins with self catering facilities. Air conditioning was excellent and the hosts very friendly and accommodating. You have to call to be let through the gates if you arrive late in the evening, but after this we were given a mobile phone that operated the gates so we didn't have to worry about calling each time. We would definately...

Nice simple cabin accomodation with all you need for an overnight stay close to the Dead Sea. Easy to find from BeerSheba and also heading south from the Dead Sea area. This is gated community for security and you may need to phone the hosts to open the gate, but there was enough traffic when we were staying that the...

We booked a cabin in this intriguing moshav, located 40 kilometers away from civilization in the Dead Sea Region. The moshav itself is lush and a very interesting place to learn about an alternative way of life in Israel. The cabins are very cute and well equipped with cooking facilities, spacious and a very nice bathroom (flies can be a...

“When you get to Neot HaKikar, pass the gate, and keep going straight all the way. Make sure to carry their phone number in case you get lost. Also, as they do not server breakfast, it would be wise to bring your own or buy something nearby (some people mentioned they have a small grocery shop nearby, but we did not look for it).”
