Just back from our 3 Peaks Challenge and 2 night stay with Joh and Steve who run a pristeen B and B with lots of little personal touches such as a well stocked toiletry cabinet for anything you may have forgotten' The 6am bacon buttie breakfast and 8am full cooked were of the highest quality with gorgeous fresh produce. If...

Based ourselves at the Willows - lovely rooms, very accommodating with an early breakfast for my son and husband before they started their 3 peaks challenge. Friendly and welcoming. Lots of advice and knowledge of the local area.

Few B&B's serve guests their breakfast from 6am - and a hearty one at that! Has to be 10 out of 10 for effort in terms of getting would-be 3 Peakers out on the road. Also closest to the finish near Horton in Ribblesdale station to facilitate that 'after walk shower and feet up' moment.

Like others we found the rules a bit over the top but in fact it is a lovely B&B. The hosts welcomed us with tea and cake and were very hospitable. It is in a good location and only a short walk to the pub for an evening meal. Rooms are well decorated and very clean with a good sized...

Lovely b&b! Found all the instructions a bit much but I understand why as is this is such a beautiful family home/b&b. Made to feel very welcome, breakfasts were lovely. Wonderful beds and lots of nice little touches like dressing gowns, shampoo etc in shower, toothpaste. On the day of the walk my water pack was leaking and Steve turned...

Our first impression having booked this B&B was that the owner may have a touch of OCD as the ridiculously long confirmation email was very OTT. We booked it purely for the location doing the three peaks and the fact that we could have a hot bacon butty for breakfast before we set off. When we arrived we were asked...

Recently stayed with a group of friends to complete our 3 Peaks challenge. Great location and fantastic, clean accommodation. Jo got up super early to provide a hearty breakfast before our walk. Found various toiletries in the bathroom in case you'd forgotten anything and heated blankets on the bed to soothe tired muscles what a treat! Would highly recommend.

If you would rather avoid places which are overly thorough steer clear! We came down off the hills to a hot cuppa and a cake, a cozy room with everything we needed and more. Just great hospitality. The hills round there are great. Easy access by train, free parking.

Accommodation in Horton in Ribblesdale is very much at a premium due to the popular Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge, the Pennine Way, and other walks. This is the best place I've found to stay. We spent just one night here on a hiking holiday in the Pen-y-Ghent room. This was spotlessly clean, bright, and had working wifi. The design of...
