The quality of both the room and the breakfast were of good quality, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was well prepared and satisfying. I would happily stay there again. Maybe tea and coffee facilities in the room would add to my experience.
I joined a HEAT training of CSD with some colleagues. De training was given in de Klooster Cenakel and the meals and stay-over was in the KvK. I stayed in a comfortable one person room, pretty basic but clean and with an efficient bathroom. Breakfast lunch and diner were in KvK too, quality good, service good, setting good. At the back of KvK is a spaceous quiet garden and there is plenty of parking available. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel with frequent trips to Amersfoort CS.
The hotel was very clean. There was always hot water and the food was excellent quality but choice was limited. Service in the restaurant was rather slow at dinner. The rooms are small. The bathrooms are tiny. There are no plugs in the hand basins (not big enough to call then sinks). The one mirror in the bathroom is for tall people only. There is no room to put your toiletries and the show would benefit from a shelf. The bedroom was poorly laid out with a table in front of the window trapping the curtain. The TV was in front of the lamp so the light was poor. It was a fairly dark room with poor lighting in general. There was no safe. The wif- fi was good. There is no porterage. We had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs and then there was a lift at the bottom of a long corridor. Excellent coffee available 24 hours in the lounge but would be good if it was in your rooms. The lounge was totally inadequate for the number of guests and when we went in we found nowhere to sit. Wine and beer, etc were expensive. The location is somewhat isolated but it does have a pleasant garden area.…
Hotel in woods near to main road but quiet. Buildings once monastery/convent and used for conferences.Plenty of parking. WIFI excellent. Rooms modern but some quirks. No stoppers provided for sinks - OK for quick wash but very awkward if you need to rinse something through and don't want to use hotel provided facilities. Room spacious but again no drawers only shelves in wardrobe. Also only mirror inside wardrobe door - not good place for make--up, hair etc. No tea making etc in rooms but 24hrs hot drinks available in lounge - lack of English breakfast tea and real milk - only creamer for coffee. Milk supplied when requested but you have to go to bar. Although no Air Con in rooms at least the windows open. Most staff helpful. Food OK
Very nice hotel food fantastic staff ok wouldn't want to stay here in hot weather as it has no air con also no coffee/tea/water in rooms. It was out of the way although it was set in a forest that was the only place to stroll
