Had an exceptional afternoon at the Bear Claw Casino for grandma’s 96th birthday! All staff we encountered went above and beyond. In the restaurant the food was all delicious. Management picked up the tab for our whole table when they heard about the extra special occasion (making everyone’s day!). After spinning the wheel in the lobby for her birthday the kind lady at reception went out of her way to explain how to use the card with the slot play dollars she had just won, and even helped get her started on a machine. The staff on the casino floor was all friendly and helpful. We won a few dollars, enjoyed a lot of laughs and had a priceless day with family at Bear Claw! We will be sure to come back more often. Thank you!!!

I wanted to visit all the casinos in Saskatchewan and was in Yorkton so it was a short drive. The casino was a bit low of machines, but I think it has regulations or something. Then the gift shop was closed due to issues or something. I had a room right next to the lobby which was a nice touch. Plenty of parking. Middle of nowhere. Nice touch. Food was good at the restaurant. Nice pens for the freebie. Beds are comfortable.

Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Price point excellent. Rooms very clean. Hotel rooms are non-smoking but the casino is full on smoking. The smoke wafts throughout the entire establishment. Very disappointing. If we would’ve known this in advance we never would have stayed.

We spent 3 nights here in August and were more than impressed with this hotel. There had been a let down with our booking through hotels.com but the front desk manager did her best to accommodate us. The room was spotless, spacious and well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the room darkening blinds and sound proofing made for three very peaceful sleeps. The included continental breakfast offered good variety and quality. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the establishment.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel and had a very nice two-night stay. The rooms are spacious and clean with updated furniture, comfortable beds, large flat screen television and nice decor. The small lobby is gorgeous and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. There is free breakfast in the lobby but also a restaurant between the hotel and the casino that has breakfast and lunch deals. We had one dinner in the restaurant but neither my husband or I liked the food (he had a steak that was a poor cut of beef and very tough and I had a chicken dish that didn't taste very good). The restaurant is obviously trying to serve more than just pub-grub but their pub-grub is probably the best thing on their menu.

We were in town for a wedding, there were quite a few of us! Everything from check in to check out was easy! Half our party won 100-300 each at the casino, half of us funded their winnings haha. Food and restaurant was amazing and the services was so so good!

Fourteen of us stayed here while attending a family wedding in the area and all of us enjoyed our immaculately clean rooms, great food, fun times at the casino and the great service of the staff. This place exceeded my expectations. I was a little hesitant about staying here when I first saw the place and walked in the door - only because there was a bit of a smoky smell, but honestly, that smell does not carry into the rooms. The staff here are wonderful - whether it's the front desk staff, the casino staff, or the restaurant staff. All deliver top notch service with a smile! My husband and I stayed in an Executive King suite - huge Jacuzzi top, free bottled water, mini fridge, microwave, great sitting area to accommodate all of our family when we were between activities. And the bed...comfy with huge fluffy pillows. Very quiet rooms. All fourteen of us had dinner and breakfast at Growlers and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. Portions are huge. Everyone commented on how great the food was. Better than expected quality. Then there is the Sunday Brunch - with the Skyline out of business, the Bear Claw is your go to place for Brunch. Everything you would expect from a Brunch Buffet in a larger metropolitan centre. We would all recommend staying here!

We took a tour to the Bear Claw Casino and Hotel. I can’t say anything about the hotel as our trip was just a day one. The casino was very nice, a good amount of machines for their size. The bathrooms were always kept up excellently and everywhere we went we noticed the cleanliness. We had lunch in their restaurant and the food was terrific. Any staff we had dealings with were nice and friendly and I can see us coming out here again.

I truly was not expecting much. This is a very small casino and small hotel in what I consider the middle of nowhere. We didn't want to drive any further at night and needed a place to stop. What I was surprised with was how nice the hotel was. I was truly from the outside expecting just a cheap little hotel. It was very nice and very clean. I wish I had taken pictures before we crashed for the night. Our room had a microwave and refrigerator, coffee (Keurig) and tea, and free bottled water. Every one of the staff that we interacted with were friendly. The casino is smallish and a little smoky. But, the casino was not the main reason for the stay or my review. That's just a side note. We ate at the restaurant - Growlers. Again, it was a casino restaurant, and I was not expecting much. I was expecting pretty much just frozen cheap food. Against my better judgement (because I had a coupon) I ordered steak. I ordered the black and blue steak. I was pleasantly surprised. The steak had some kick to it. It was very tasty and not tough. We went back the next morning for breakfast, but the restaurant at the time we went is only open on the weekends for breakfast. So, we went to the free breakfast the hotel provides. It is standard continental breakfast - bagel, cereal, etc.
