This is an excellent place to stay! The rooms are VERY clean and the beds very comfortable (we had the best sleep here!). It was very quiet; the doors are thick and we did not hear people in the hallways. The rooms are a good size. They provided coffee/tea/water in the room. They have windows that open with screens which was nice on a cool evening. The continental breakfast was very good. Lots of parking with security.

What a wonderful visit. Staff was welcoming. Told us all the amenities and opportunities for discounts on meals. Breakfast was continental with variety. One staff member made sure we had the ight coupons by sear hinge out all we were eligible for. Real cups and glasses in our room. Recent remodeling provides a well decorated room, clean and inviting room.

We decided to stay at the Bear Claw Hotel as a part of their "Stay and Play Golf Package." It was a great choice for us. We were extremely impressed with the hotel, the grounds, the casino area and of course, the area golf courses.

The entrance to the hotel was very welcoming and inviting. The staff greated us as we entered the hotel lobby and asked us how our trip was. This is a smaller hotel with what I believe is just 36 rooms. A majority of them are 2 queen bed rooms, with a few King bedrooms and a King Jacuzzi room or two. We booked a 2 queen room.

Our room and package information was ready when we arrived. When we entered our room, we were very surprised to what we found. These rooms are big with lots of space between the beds, to the other furniture and includes a leather sitting chair. The furniture seems recently new and the whole room was clean and appeling. We found the bed extremely comfortable and the flat screen TV with lots of channels to choose from. We were told that the hotel did go through a massive renovation about 3 years ago and has kept up it appearence.

The bath room is a good size with a deep tub that for a smaller person would allow them to soak after a good round of golf. If you are taller, you won't get completely covered but it is still a comfortable soak considering that this hotel does not have a hot tub or pool included.

Overall, we would gladly stay at this hotel again and take part in the golf package. This package includes a round at both the Bear Claw Golf COurse and Kenosee Golf Course, Park Passes to each, $20 credit cash for the casino, continental breakfast if you can get up by 8 am and the room. The best thing about this package is that you do not pay for the whole thing at once. You get discounted coupons for the golf courses and the hotel. What is good about that is if the weather is crappy and you can't get out to one of the golf courses, you are not out the money for that course because you haven't paid for it as a one price package. Again, you pay each separately. Overall, the cost is $139 per person based on 2 people if you get to all things.

There is the Kenosee Waterslides near by if you are bringing children or non-golfers but unless you are into the casino, there isn't much there for you to do. There is the main beach at Kenosee Lake and the town of Carlyle is not that far for shopping.

Our only complaint was the restaurant. On the morning we went to eat, we did wait for over an hour. As we thought, they only had one cook on that morning and the restaurant was very busy. We weren't in a rush and the food was excellent but beware if you are in a rush, you may want to check to see about the wait time.

I wanted to visit all the casinos in Saskatchewan and was in Yorkton so it was a short drive. The casino was a bit low of machines, but I think it has regulations or something. Then the gift shop was closed due to issues or something. I had a room right next to the lobby which was a nice touch. Plenty of parking. Middle of nowhere. Nice touch. Food was good at the restaurant. Nice pens for the freebie. Beds are comfortable.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel and had a very nice two-night stay. The rooms are spacious and clean with updated furniture, comfortable beds, large flat screen television and nice decor. The small lobby is gorgeous and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. There is free breakfast in the lobby but also a restaurant between the hotel and the casino that has breakfast and lunch deals. We had one dinner in the restaurant but neither my husband or I liked the food (he had a steak that was a poor cut of beef and very tough and I had a chicken dish that didn't taste very good). The restaurant is obviously trying to serve more than just pub-grub but their pub-grub is probably the best thing on their menu.

Travelled to Bear Claw Resort & Casino in June 2014 with two other couples and thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. Their golfing stay & play provided us with exceptional value which included fantastic golf at White Bear Lake Golf Course and Golf Kenosee.

Our hotel room was simply outstanding and interactions with staff including check in was perfect. The stay & play golf options provided discounts for green fees, park admissions and top quality golf balls along with an additional $20 casino credit when you play White Bear Lake Golf Course.

A definite "must play" for golfers of all abilities and a fantastic vacation in south eastern Saskatchewan! We will definitely return to enjoy what the area has to offer.

Stayed at the Bear Claw Casino while in the area for work. This was my second time staying at the casino, and I was once again very impressed.
The room was about $100 after the players club rebate. Very large room, fridge and comfortable beds. Bathroom was large as well, and overall the room was very clean.
Ate at the restaurant for breakfast in the morning and the food was good.
The casino has table games and slots. Staff was friendly and the casino was very clean. Just a note that smoking is allowed in the casino for those not used to that.
Overall, another great stay. The staff is good, rooms are large and the property is very clean.

Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.
Price point excellent.
Rooms very clean.
Hotel rooms are non-smoking but the casino is full on smoking. The smoke wafts throughout the entire establishment. Very disappointing.
If we would’ve known this in advance we never would have stayed.

The hotel is beautiful and the sleep is amazing. Excellent beds and pillows. Love their toiletries- they didn't spare no expense there. Would definitely recommend it. The machines in the casino are very tight. If you are looking to win- go elsewhere. Continental breastfed Is standard. But the meals inn restaurant are very good.

Stayed at the casino while in he area again for business. Once again, I was very impressed with everything. Check in was smooth, rooms updated and spotless, and price very reasonable. The casino and hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Ate breakfast at the restaurant and the food was great. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who asked.

If you are highly sensitive to the smell then yes, it’s probable that you would smell it as far as your room or the hallways.
