Iringa Sunset Hotel is a hidden gem in Iringa. If you are looking for a hideaway from bustling noise of Iringa town; if you are looking for a cosy, clean, modest and peace of mind accommodation, this place is for you. I stay at this property regularly and in March 2021, I invited a group of 18 people for chat and lunch and I received commendable service at competitive price.

The Sunset Hotel Iringa, is very well maintained and has the best rooms facilities with the heating unit . We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and food is available for every culture taste. Though the waiters need more training in pushing up their services and orders when a bunch of people like 50 are on the table. The hotel is fully secured and has tremendous value for the money.

Finding such a gem in the middle of nowhere is fantastic. Apart from the location and view from the sundeck, the friendliness and helpfulness of the personnel is unrivalled: they go out of their way to help you and to improve their service.
Dont expect a luxury international standard hotel but rather a cosy very nice place in a great setting. It is not easy to find but once found you dont want to move further on.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable (a bit rustic), the food is fantastic, the servic epersonnel will provide you with nearly everything you wish (even if not on the menu!), the sole downside is the internet - good news: it works, bad news: it is slow.

We are grateful that , you had been able to narrate how good our hotel is but still there is a lot to improve. Our Hotel has been much improved in terms of facilities and basic amenities since then from accommodation, restaurant, bar, heated swimming pool and the gym. A good number of rooms have been renovated. With a cozy wooden rooms also modern block rooms all are provided with a great hotel room standard. Currently , we have improved our internet free service with a multiple of devices all around the hotel with great speed and easily accessible. We stayed here in April 2021 for 2 nights as a stop over to and from Mufindi.
The hotel staff offer excellent service. Always ready to help and very friendly. Rooms are clean and all necessary facilities are provided.
The surrounding is full of natural beauty (rocks, plants, birds) and the evening bonfire adds to the comfort.
Igeleke rock paintings are not too far from this hotel.
We would certainly stay here whenever we visit iringa.

This is a very nice hotel with wonderful staff. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The sitting areas overlooking the city are spectacular and the area near the pool offers another quiet place to relax. The grounds are peaceful and well maintained. The breakfast was marvelous with lots of fruit, breads, eggs made to order and sundry other offerings. Dinner was a bit of an adventure as we ordered a number of different options and it took nearly an hour to get our food, in spite of there being few other diners. All in all it was a good experience. Would go back in the future if we have the opportunity to return to Iringa.

I had a wonderfully warm welcome from very friendly staff. My room was one of the new premium rooms, which was fantastic 😁 Views (especially sunset, of course) are great, and so was the food (barbecue at the weekend was definitely a highlight). Overall, highly recommend!

We spent two nights at Iringa. All was going well until it was check out time. Our accommodation had been prepaid but the front office desk still charged us for the accommodation as we were checking out. Our attempts to get a refund from the hotel have been untruthful. 3 months down the road the management has refused to refund the money.

The hotel, the rooms, the food, and the incredible view, this hotel is perfect for a few days in Iringa. We unfortunately only stayed for 1 night, but definitely going back for a few more!! During our trip to southern Tanzania, we stayed at the Iringa Sunset Hotel. We were thoroughly impressed with the hotel's facilities, which were in great condition. The owner and staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating. The rooms, restaurant, swimming pool, and lounge were all fantastic. The hotel also provides stunning views of Iringa Town. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

A more or less standard hotel, however with special rooms, a great view and on average good staff. Standard meaning you can find quote some of those places over the world, having all but not very special. The staff at the reception is great, at the restaurants a bit easy. And you will have to realize this is in town, so some noise untill late is inevitable.
