I stayed in villa Gaia for one night end of August. The hotel is family run, rooms are very new (still with a pleasant flavor or pine) and offers an unbeatable view of cadore's most beautiful mountains. What really stands out though is the incredible kindness of the owners, truly reaching out to make their guest's stay pleasant

We spent one week at Hotel Villa Gaia and we were very pleased with the experience. The room was newly renovated and with splendid view of the valley, there is also free bike and sauna service that made long stays even better. We can really recommended.

A beautiful and neat place situated a block below the road. Faces a gorge with stunning views. Unfortunately, it was a bit dissapointing. Firstly, the book-in time is only at 4 and since check-out is at 10, it feels like one is being done short just a little. It is remotely situated, so that makes it even more of a... More

This was a great value for the money. We paid 90 Euros for 2 people for a very nice room, the best we've found yet in northern Italy. The staff was friendly and the breakfast, while simple, was nice. Room comfort though was great, with large shower head, fast internet, stylish decor. We had a view towards the mountains and... More

Excellent view into the Bosco Nero Group mountains on the other side of the valley. Nice rooms, hotel directly on the bicycle trail through the Dolomites, very friendly owners. Cooking is not their premier ability. But you get a wonderful feeling of beeing welcome here.

Villa Gaia opened in 2009, but still looks very new. 24 km south of Cortina d'Ampezzo you find this small hotel. We had a fantastic room with a big terrace and a great view on the Dolomites (room Landro). 50 m from the hotel there is a great authentic pizza rest. Da Bruno!

Small family-owned hotel. Very new (2009) and designed with a lot of charm. Our room was big and nicely decorated, had a huge terrace with chairs+table. Owners very kind and helpful. It is evident that a lot of effort was invested into giving this hotel a special touch. The only thing we found a bit lacking was the breakfast, which... More
