We have stayed at the Bear Country Lodge off and on for several years. The cottages are absolutely perfect for weekend get-a-ways. They are very romantic with a fireplace that uses fire logs, and a very large hot tub right in the master bedroom. At the same time the cottages are very practical with a full kitchen and everything you...

Bear Country was just as advertised a nice, well appointed cabin. Our group of four found it to meet all of our needs on a four day ice fishing trip. Rita was very helpful with anything we needed. We will be back! Wi-Fi would have been nice

I've stayed here a few times in the past and keep going back! It's close to Winnipeg and far enough to feel like you are in the middle of no where. We just love it! Do yourself a favour and try it out!

This is our second time staying at Bear Country, our previous positive experience resulted in a return visit. We have been at Bear Country for 5 days now and have had an excellent time. Rita is very kind and hospitable, and ensured that we had everything we needed - plenty of towels, toilet paper, pillows, etc. In our 5 days...

I took my dad here for father's day this year and had an amazing trip. From the tall jack pines to the beautiful cabin, we forgot what day it was once we left. Rita was very accommodating and her hospitality was well given. I am definitely coming back to this wonderful resort. until next time, Daniel & Louie

Our group of 5 stayed the weekend at Bear Country Cottages and we had a great time. Rita showed us how all the things in the 3 bedroom worked, from the BBQ & hot tub in the screened in porch, flat screen & satellite TV, to the dishwasher, very through. It was a 10 min drive to Grand Pines Golf...

We rent a couple cabins every year for ice fishing, and Rita has been doing a fine job. The cabins are tastefully decorated, well equipped, and ultra clean. I would have rated this place perfect but the resort is not trailer friendly. There are no turnarounds or parking for trailers. Snowmobiles and ice fisherman need room for their trailers and...

For my husband's birthday we wanted a family friendly cottage to accommodate our children and grandchildren from Washington D.C. who were joining us. The luxury of the 3 bedroom cottage was perfect. The weather was HOT so the air conditioning was refreshing. We enjoyed the hot tub, campfires, dining inside and on the screened porch. Clean-up was easy with washer,...

We are a family of four and stayed at Bear Country Cottages for a week. It was fantastic! Our cabin was spotless and well-stocked with all the kitchen essentials. Beds were very comfortable. The resort was wonderfully quiet and within driving distance to many great beaches. Rita is a terrific hostess dedicated to making our stay a great one. Would...

My girlfriend and I spent the long weekend here in the "Minnie" cottage and we loved it. Shower was a little small but the indoor jacuzzi tub is huge with a great and entirely private picture window view of the beautiful Belair forest so that made up for it. The bed in the master bedroom was a little uncomfortable, not...
