This was a gem of a find! An old house, beautifully restored, and very attractive. Warm welcome. Very comfortable, with freshly cooked and ample Welsh breakfasts. Close to good restaurants, but set in a rural location, and no traffic noise. Lovely walks, starting at the front door. The whole of the Vale of Glamorgan to explore, but close to Cardiff...

After a hard days work Plas Hen is the perfect location to relax and unwind. Quite country setting, lovely garden and comfortable rooms...

Helen was a perfect host. We stayed here rather than in Cardiff when we came over to see Wales v Scotland in March. What a great idea! We shared a taxi into Cardiff on the Saturday and caught our own taxi back that evening. It worked out cheaper than paying the over-priced Cardiff international weekend rates and much more relaxing...

I stayed at Plas Hen Country House recently with my friend as we were photographing a local wedding. The house was beautiful and welcoming, with a fab country kitchen, modern bedrooms and bathrooms. Helen was so friendly and made us feel at home. The food was delicious, we couldn't have asked for more. Thanks Helen!

We stayed for two nights to get a quiet week end in the countryside and it couldn't have been better. From the excellent room and facilities to our lovely host Helen and her marvelous breakfasts. You will enjoy an absolutely gorgeous house in beautiful country side just minutes away from everything you might need. I thoroughly recommend!
