We used Lakeland Vista RV Park & Resort for camping and for visiting Waskesiu during last weekend of this April. The nice kind owner and fairly good location. We knew it was a bit too early for camping, but that weekend was only time that worked for both of us and we have 150 free pass, so we decided to go camping. As it was still early season, the camp sites of the National Park was still not open. Then when we were looking for any private site, we found Lakeland. Although it was not officially open yet for this season and the site is a RV camping site, the owner kindly understood our situation and even let us use our tent for camping. So, we were able to enjoy camping&BBQ and visiting Waskesiu over the weekend. This RV site is about 30-drive away from the National Park and about 1 km away from convenience store and liquor store. Once you contact the owner, you will get the detail of this RV site from the replied email and can ask personal questions or so as needed. There is a pond in this site, so we would've enjoyed swimming or dipping in if it had been sometime in summer. Apparently before it officially open, the water system is not set up, so it would be good idea to make sure about water access before hand if you happen to visit in off-season. We would return to this RV site.…
We stayed in P5 which backed onto the pond. The RV park is in its infancy stage but as long as you are self contained you should have no problems. They have full hook ups and up to 100 amp power. It was very quiet and peaceful and a short drive to Christopher and Emma Lakes. You are within walking distance to the shopping area of Christopher Lake with restaurants, food store, pub, library and gas stations with propane. We would return to this RV park.
