We enjoyed our stay at Christmas 2013 and were happy to be returning. We even got the same room we had before. I don't know what happened to this place. If you use a Hotel Booking service, see the room before you check in. Check that the shower is working and the Mirror is clean The Hotel is paid when...

If you want to stay in a hotel that has no maintenance at all, that in the first day you arrive there is no water, the bed linen is of dubious origin (you do not know if it is either partially clean or they just used the one of the previous guest), on your second day you want to take...

This hotel is abandoned and without care. The room is dirt. There's no good service on hotel. Breakfast is not good with old foods. There's available only 3 menu for all guests. Sorry but I don't recommend this hotel.

Spent two nights here visiting Campeche One block from the most interesting and vibrant section of the old city. Great views of the Gulf of Mexico and the Malecon on one side, the old city and it's wall on the other Large pool that was great for a dip after a hot day of walking, cycling etc around the town. Very comfortable...

It was a great place to stay, perfect location, restaurant in building where a good breakfast was served, and a large pool with pool chairs to lounge in. We felt this hotel to be of excellent value for our money. The Malecon nearby was a huge plus to making our stay in Campeche fun and interesting.

We don'the ask for much when we travel other than clean rooms and clean bedding. The linen and towels at Hotel Baluartes are rags complete with rips and tears. We had to go buy a sanitizer to get rid of the terrible sMell. We had paid for 4 nights we walked out after an awful first night and forfeited the...

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked online which showed really nice photos of the room only to find a run down hotel, where the pillows were dirty, as well as the floor, the paint on the walls were peeling off, the light didn't work and the air conditioner was black. When we asked for a new room...

It once was a good hotel its now decadent, the rooms (at least the ones that haven't been refurbished) are in poor conditions and the hotel itself has seen better days. Campeche has now better offer with small boutique hotels.

This hotel was good, the rooms were really big and clean. Working AC and a huge parking lot. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only problem was at 08:30 on a Thursday the maintenance guy started tearing up the marble floors outside our door, with a hammer and chisel, he kept working all day! He did a good job,...

We travelled as part of a tour group and the rooms differed greatly between each pair. Our double room overlooked the ocean and was very spacious. The room across was smaller - still with 2 doubles and had a funny smell. The corridors are hot and smell of smoke.

“The ocean-view rooms are pretty spectacular, with balconies and a nicer layout than the others. However, one of them had a non-working shower, so it's a good idea to check before you settle in.”
