We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and we loved it. I was ill so I was forced to stay in bed and I felt at home. Big and clean room and bathroom, A/C and TV made me feel comfortable. Nice breakfast and location.

We found this hotel on-line and received a 30% discount by booking on the web. We were so pleasantly surprised to find we had discovered an incredible bargain-- the rooms are lovely, and big, the staff is very helpful and attentive (though they speak only a little English) and the place is located in the perfect spot, near the town...

The other two reviews give a good summary of the hotel. It is comfortable and colorful. There is good wireless internet provided for free. We hesitated to book on line because we did not know when we would reach Campeche and discovered that the hotel would not give us the on line rates. We negotiated a bit but still paid...

Hotel Castelmar is a treasure in the centre of the historic part of Campeche! We loved it. Housed in a charming old building that has had a complete refit. We booked a few nights in the "Francis Drake" hotel but upon arriving there found it wasn't what we were looking for. After searching the city we decided upon this hotel...

We found this hotel asking to the Campeche tourist office. And we felt in love at the first glance. The hotel is covered by Azulejos and the room is parfumed with honeysuckle leavs. The furniture is all dark wood as well the roof. Rooms have big showers and A/C. “2nd floor has a beautiful open lobby and rooms have balconies onto the street. Our corner room was very large with two balconies.”
