Just returned from a few nights in wonderful Corinna. Amazing, remote and beautiful. The road in via Zeehan is a bit scary (narrow and winding) but well maintained and fine if you;re not zooming along too quickly (watch out for idiot drivers approaching from the opposite direction though). Accommodation is basic and clean - although we found the bed to...

This is a brilliant place to stay to explore the Tarkine Wilderness. The little original cottages were clean and functional, quite cosy! The restaurant was terrific, great dinner and ambience was warm and welcoming. The boat tours up the Pieman River were also terrific. Kayaks on offer. Excellent hikes from here. Loved it!

Corinna is a remote area and we stayed in a one bedroom cabin. The amenities were basic and clean. The cabin had a gas fireplace so the room was nice and warm. There was a kitchen with a gas cooktop and a gas kettle. The kettle was very old and needed to be replaced as it leaked everywhere when you...

Thank you for your comments. We currently have many wallabies, paddymelons and brush tail possums. This season we are very excited to have three young Tassie Devils showing themselves most evenings. Hopefully you were able to see one of these during your stay!!

On arrival we were amazed by the old world charm of the cottages and the serenity of the Pieman River, immediately you got the vibe that this would be a very relaxing break. Our 2 bedroom cottage was more than adequate, the kitchen was well equipped and the gas heater kept the whole cottage very cosy. At the hotel the...

Thank you for your feedback. Our " Escape to the Wilderness Package" is a great way to fill your three days visit, with all the activities on offer at Corinna. We agree if you wanted to explore Corinna & surrounding areas you would definately need longer.

What a unique place. A perfect end to our amazing holiday in Tasmania. Totally off grid with no TV, internet or phone, perfect. The chalets are basic but comfortable but do make sure you take everything you need for your stay as there are no shops. Lunch and dinner are available at the Tarkine hotel and the food was quite...

If you want somewhere where the only electricity is solar powered, no phone, no tv, no internet, amazing walks and scenery then this is it. There wasn't even somewhere convenient for me to plug in my hair drier, thank goodness I had opted for a short hair cut before leaving on holiday. We took the Pieman River cruise, the day...

This place is charming, with its individual old world cottages catering for couples and larger parties. We stayed 3 nights which was the perfect amount of time to explore the region, though I am sure you could easily spend a week soaking up the natural beauty of this place. We were lucky to have 3 rain free days, so the...

We stayed 3 nights in a little house and it was just fantastic - everything about this accommodation says " We care about your comfort!" We felt thoroughly spoiled and really loved the experience. Highlight for me was the kayak paddle to Little Lover's Falls - not because the waterfall is anything special but the setting is spectacular when you...

Thank you for your lovely review, Lover's corner is my favorite area as well. It’s so nice that you can paddle down with the option of walking back through the magical rainforest. Hope to see you again!

Everything about this place was wonderful. The place is quaint and out of the way but worth the visit. Staff were nice, food was good, cabins were wonderful. We were fortunate to have good weather but there is air con and open fires in the cabins
