We visited for family holiday, we were really pleased with our choice. The rooms were immaculately clean, well furnished and cosy. The breakfast was excellent. Paul was a really attentive host and gave us plenty of recommendations on where to eat and drink. He even provided us with wine glasses when we arrived one evening with a bottle of wine.... More

This is a fantastic B&B, the best we've stayed in, and we've stayed in a few. Situated in a quiet village, within easy reach of the rest of Dorset. Paul is a great host, nothing is too much trouble for him. The house is immaculate. The bedrooms are comfortable with all you need and more. The en-suite shower room is... More

We spent two nights at Quiet Woman House. The owner Paul was very welcoming, carried our bags and brought us some spiced apple cake up to the room while we settled in which was a nice touch. The owners have paid great attention to detail here and have thought of everything! A few things made it just that bit better... More

Paul sets the standard for other B & Bs to follow and very few will match it. Really well appointed rooms in a cleverly designed conversion from an old Pub. Sparkling clean, great breakfasts, above all meticulous attention to detail. Well off the beaten track.

Have just spent 2 nights (June 2016) at this terrific B&B with friends. I cannot praise enough the décor, quality and cleanliness of both the rooms we had, most definitely 5 star all the way. The whole property has been updated from an old pub - with an interesting history- with love, care and attention for use of its guests.... More

My wife and I spent 2 nights here and we thought it was fantastic. Starts from the moment you arrive, greeted by Paul and escorted to your room. Lovely room absolutely spotless and really inviting. Lots of nice little touches, like real milk in a Thermos flask, sweets and savoury nibbles, hairdryer, proper shampoo and shower gel instead of horrible... More

My wife and I have stayed here many times over the past few years and the rooms are always spotless with up to date amenities including fresh milk! On our recent visit Paul had reserved a table for us in the local typically English pub where we had great food at reasonable prices.
