During our recent holiday to Pocklington we went for three meals at The Feathers Hotel in the centre of Pocklington. A lot of choice and a very enjoyable meal each time. Value for money, well presented and cooked. The staff were very friendly and made our visit a very pleasant experience. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

We stayed in this hotel half-way through walking the Chalkland Way. I didn't know what to expect with it only having 2 stars but it was lovely. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy and we were given such a warm and friendly welcome. We stayed in a room in the car park which was very quiet and...

The staff were polite ,friendly and helpful. The food freshly cooked and plentiful. My husband and i stayed in a"chalet" Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. To enable it to be used as a family room there was a connecting door which unfortunately had NO soundproofing. We were forced to listen to every word of the late arrivals...

Had a great meal when we first arrived, lamb dinner, plenty meat and perfectly cooked vegetables. When the rest of our family arrived we came here again. This time having the scampi, giant burger, stewed steak and beef baguettes. All really well cooked and got plenty.

Welcoming staff, great location in this lovely town. The room was a good size and clean though in need of re-decoration, nice big bathroom, good shower. However, what we really needed was a good night's sleep which was impossible under the glare of the green light above the bed. The room was also unbearably hot.

A warm atmosphere and very extensive menu, had the fish n chips which was huge and a very good quality, prices reasonable and staff friendly. Considering it was midweek the restaurant was busy and was catering for families with children. A really good meal.

Thank Keith N
