Warm welcome, lovely room with views over beautiful gardens. Bedroom was spacious with very comfortable bed. Breakfast was plentiful and served in dining room overlooking garden, we sat and watched squirrels. We would definitely recommend the accomodation, but be quick as it's for sale.

We stayed here to attend a friends wedding, the welcome was great, the room great and mine hosts were brilliant. The owner offered without prompting to come out late in the evening a collect us from the wedding venue as taxis were unreliable, what service. Breakfast was special and well catered with fresh everything....it was a great stay..made better by...

Claimed to be 5* and hosts charming and setting very nice but quality of accommodation was not 5* when we visted early in May 2014. (Benchmark other 5 and 4* accomodation in UK and around the world). There was only one pillow per person, no bathrobes, no wardrobe space, no shaving mirror, no shaver/toothbrush power point, two bath towels and...

We stayed here for one night to attend a wedding at Craig Y Nos castle. We arrived mid afternoon and were made a lovely pot of tea by the friendly owners. Enjoyed an hour reading in their beautiful garden surrounded by magnificent mountains. Breakfast was served in the garden and was beautifully cooked and presented. I agree with previous reviewer...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night. The room was great, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also great and we ate outside in the lovely garden. We did however request a "picnic hamper", which involved the owners using our own hamper and making 4 x cheese and tomato rolls and some fruit. We were very surprised when...

We stayed here for a wedding in the Summer time. The hotel is easy to find (with instructions!) and it is a lovely little place to stay that has got some stunning views nearby. My only criticism is that all the storage in the room had the owner's clothes in them! If you're staying for a night and going to...

Lovely b&b with lovely owners. we stayed here as we were attending a wedding at craig y nos castle-nearby. Its ok for walkers/hikers but not to walk back from the castle as there is no lighting on way!! Breakfast was at a communal table which wasnt to my taste as I like privacy whilst eating, but all in all-friendly atmosphere...

Great B&B along the Beacon's Way! Worth the stop for the convenience and luxury. We ended our "Day 5" hiking trek from Storey Arms here at the Old Vicarage and we were grateful that the B&B is clearly marked as we made our way drown the road from the old mining town of Penwyllt. Clean rooms, great (large) English Breakfast...
