First up - Search only for "Ammathi" on your GPS and you will reach the right place - searching for "Beehive ammathi" takes you to a wrong place in Madikeri for some weird reason. Ammathi is a very small town which reminded me of RK Narayan's Malgudi in some ways! Loved spending time here. The homestay is a quiet, green,...

Only draw back is Bee hive is 35 to 40 kms from medikari .Still Ammathi is very peaceful place without...

If you are going to Coorg for sightseeing, trekking etc then may be you would like to stay somewhere closer to the city. But this place is far from city and probably the...

Bit far from the main town, this resort is located in a very peaceful location. The cottage was really nice, clean, well maintained & of-course decorated with various beautiful glass paintings made by the owner, Mr. Sanjay. Hospitality was very good & its actually home away from home.

Awesome hospitality is what this place means... A peaceful location next to a coffee estate, clean rooms and home-cooked warm meals are the specialties of this beautiful Homestay in Coorg. We visited Coorg on 1st-2ndOctober 2012, and decided to stay in this place upon a friend's recommendation. Mr. Sanjay welcomed us with a smile which made us feel at home....
