Excellent attention to detail. It was a wonderful experience, located in an interesting village in a beautiful area of Kent, and with very gracious hosts. The full English breakfast was great. The house has a lovely garden, and our bedroom plus ensuite was very comfortable and well appointed.

This is probably the most quintessentially English area of the UK. The Holt is the perfect place to stay for a visit to the Garden of England. A traditional looking Kentish style cottage hidden away behind a little wooden chapel. In snowy mid winter the room was comfortable and the hosts welcoming. This is a cottage and so the rooms...

I am a B&B newbie. But I have to admit, The Holt in Benenden is better than any hotel I have ever stayed in. My room was immaculate, the bed was very nice - every comfort was provided. Kate and Time were incredibly hospitable. My breakfast was delicious! I cannot recommend The Holt enough. Book it now, you will not...

Everything was every bit as good as previous reviewers led us to believe. The room was comfortable, quiet, spotless and had everything one could need, with the added bonus of fresh flowers. The cooked breakfast was perfect together with the home-made bread and jams. Torches and umbrellas were provided for our evening visit to The Bull (is there a more...

The best B & B we've very stayed in. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with every possible need catered for. Breakfast was fantastic, the home made bread to die for!

It is hard to imagine a more beautiful place than this! Perfection. Friendly welcome with tea and chocolate cake in the garden, gorgeous house, lovely garden, comfortable room, spotlessly clean and delicious breakfasts with constant supply of fresh milk for tea. All this in the wonderful Kent countryside. Great meals at the Bull Inn. Magic! We hope to come back...

Last summer we stayed at the Holt for two nights. Leaving Holland in the rain, the sunny weather in England was a surprise and at Kate's we were welcomed with tea and cake in the garden: a perfect start of our holiday. Our bedroom was fantastic, spotlessly clean and comfortable, with beautiful views and fresh flowers. We enjoyed the perfect breakfasts...

We had a very pleaseant stay at the holt. Tim and Kate were great hosts and couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. Location, breakfast and room were good. Only slight negative is the lack of freeview, but I don't suppose you go to the countryside for the tv!! Would totally recommend a stay here!

We could have moved in permanently. The setting was beautiful, the accommodation excellent and we couldn't have felt more welcome or at home. We were greeted with tea and cakes on the lawn and were able to sit and relax in the garden. Breakfast in the dining room with the sun streaming in through the open windows onto a beautifully...

Lovely warm welcome with tea and home made cake. Very clean and good sized rooms. Excellent breakfast with wide variety. Kate and Tim were ideal hosts - being there when you needed them. Location is so quiet and beautiful grounds if you want to wonder around. Would happily return. Only gripe (and minor at that) but it would be nice...
