We had booked this for the week because we were in between accommodation and needed to stay near the area. Yes it was cheap and didn't expect much, but the bathroom sink was filthy and the place stank. we also hadn't realized (wasn't very clear) it was a shared bathroom. We had actually tried to cancel the booking 5 minutes...

I needed to spend a night in the area and booked via a website. As the room was very cheap I did not expect much. I was very pleasantly surprised as the room was clean and comfortable. There were tea making facilities and a small television with an aerial you had to move to get a picture but once in...

This is someones home that effectively they allow you to sleep in and charge you. It does not feel professional, organised or that well set up. Rooms very small and unorganised and communal showers. Breakfast was at a big table shared with the family, not really what we was looking for as you felt like you had to be mindful...

Been there two nights. One to go and im missing it already. The landlady is lovely and it has a really nice homely ,non pretentious, feel to it. Very reasonable price too. There is ample off rd parking. I cant comment on the breakfast as ive been leaving before breakfast time but if its half as good as the rest...

We advised that we would be arriving at the property between 1-2pm on the 16th July to enable us to change before attending a wedding at 3pm. We arrived at around 2pm and asked to check in. We were refused as the room was not ready. We asked to see our room and again were refused. As we needed to...

Location is very hard to find, google maps can't seem to find it so drove around for some time. When we eventually found there were a lot of builders milling about and it was one of them who directed us to the entrance. Walked in to find the land lady preparing curry in the kitchen ... it felt like walking...

We stayed here as it is local to our university and we had an early exam. it was safer for us to stay near in case traffic was a nightmare in the morning. The room was basic but it was all we needed to get our heads down. The owners live downstairs and were very pleasant. the room was spotlessly...

A very pleasant stay! For a cheap hotel/bed and breakfast near London, Ruxley rooms is very clean, comfortable and friendly. I have stayed in a number of budget hotels in London and none as good as this. From past experience I was nervous about shared bathrooms, but they were very clean and hot water although the floor was a bit...
