I booked this accommodation 9 days in advance, received confirmation and I sent a personal email outlining our late arrival. I received no response to the email and made 2 phone calls to verify our arrangements without success. On the day of arrival, I finally got through (after phoning a newly provided number) and was told that the proprietor had...

Lovely welcome from Joanne who even booked us a table at the Eagles Head in the village for that evening. Comfy room ability to make drink whenever using fresh milk so much nicer than little sachets. Really good breakfast being able to have it in our room was luxury. Very clean, plenty of towels and hot water. Will be going...

We recently stayed at Chapel Lodge to celebrate our son's birthday. Joanne made us feel very welcome and did so much to make our stay really special. The two bedrooms are very cosy and spotlessly clean and the accommodation is very private, being built away from the main house. Breakfasts were delicious with such a wide choice available. We will...

Only a few minutes drive from Capernwray dive centre. The 2 rooms are separate from the main building, so you do have your privacy. The 2 rooms share the kettle and large selection of drinks. On arrival we were offered a filter coffee and a chocolate caterpillar cake, as the hosts had been celebrating a birthday. :-) There was lots...

We stayed for two nights while visiting relatives. We were very impressed with the fabulous breakfasts and comfortable rooms which were uniquely decorated. Made friends with Kirk the micro-pig. Just wish I'd had time to use the beauty salon.

Joanne gave my wife and I an extremely warm welcome, offered us fresh coffee or tea, and ensured that we had everything required, We enjoyed an excellent breakfast, which was made to order. The bedroom and bathroom was spotlessly clean, indeed...
