We absolutely loved our coffee tour here. It is so well worth it, and you learn so much! Additionally, they serve a good-sized lunch. I recommend getting the fish here! If you can, come during the first week of August, as it is when the coffee plants flower, and it's supposed to be an amazing sight!

If you go to this part of Colombia don't miss this hacienda. Is an amazing experience, the owners and all the people that work where are really friendly and have a chat with deal is a delight. The food is amazing so don't miss the lunch

This was unforgettable! We went mainly for a coffee farm tour but found so much more. Gorgeous setting near town of Chinchiná. Fabulous family. Amazing food and a thorough coffee lecture and farm tour. Definitely ask for the cottage rather than the main house. It's a jewel. Here's the capper: On settling my bill I had overpaid by $20. The...

This review is a long time coming as I visited Hacienda Guayabal this past May. I arrived somewhat unexpectedly and on very short notice. As it happened, I was the only guest (the first day) and was treated exceptionally warm like an old friend. I was given a choice of rooms and shown around the immediate grounds. I went for...

We were met as our taxi dropped us off by the owner's son who was very helpful in helping us plan our visit to the area. Scheduled a visit to local thermal springs, and the coffee tour the following day. The meals were all good and the service excellent. It was a small dining area and we were able to...

Hey Felipe ! I was very disappointed not to say bye to you because your tour was brilliant today, you're very intellligent, very charismatic and speak great English ! The food was also good and at a good overall price.. The only thing I'd improve is adding more sign posts for people like me who walked from the bus and...

Must visit! You learn all about coffee, from the plant to the harvest, about history and business. Nevertheless it is a nice calm hacienda with a small pool, nice staff ans good food. Would do this trip again some time.

I was excited to learn about coffee and tour the coffee fields, but this place exceeded my expectations! Immediately upon arrival everyone welcomed and greeted us with open arms, water, & of course coffee. Located 45mins from the Periera airport, this trip to zona cafeteria was well worth the time; flying from Cartagena to Periera was convienent. Staying at the...

An absolute slice of heaven in La Zona Cafetera. I could not recommend this place enough. We had a wonderful experience with lovely staff, excellent food and accommodation, and a great tour. Five stars.

There are many reasons why our stay was a perfect experience. The room was comfortable, with beautiful views to the coffee-plantations on the hills. The food was simply delicious. The coffee tour was both interesting and authentic. The family and staff were welcoming and friendly. The butler even knew our eating habits after three days. Such a personal service -...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We have coffee plantation, and tours every days. This place is just kick back and be pampered, by all means come here. You will be glad you did. The upper floor has a large wide full length balcony/walkway that has chairs & small tables for sitting, relaxing, playing cards, etc. Overall very comfortable and very quiet. There are a myriad of tropical birds about as well, which always is a plus in my mind. The pool is also a refreshing way to finish off a day...or maybe even start one. The views are beautiful, as you can see 360 degrees of rolling hills in the foreground as well as mountains in the background. Many different shades of green, punctuated with varying colors from the many types of flowering tropical plants that also call this place home. Is the paradise. ... more   less
