This is a nice, comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. The restaurant is very good with variety. My only gripe was the quality of Internet connection. It was tricky doing business using the hotel's wifi. Other than that, a good stay at very reasonable price.

Most of the folks who stay in this hotel aren't familiar with the general European hotel experience; being as that Hotel Angerer is a first stop for them after coming to Germany on a duty assignment. That's how it was for us, and at least 40 other people I've met since our stay. When you take it for full value...

We stayed here for a few days in December. We found the rooms and beds, comfortable and clean. Bathroom absolutely spotless. Friendly efficient service and reasonably priced. Ideal for our requirements.

I stayed here for a week while working on the US Army post. I had a little penthouse apartment on the top floor and I loved it. It was cozy and clean. The nice lady who was working at the desk told me that she was the 14th generation to run the hotel and her love for her job was...

My fiance and I booked one night here for 71Euro with breakfast included. The price is a bit steep for such facilities but I can understand why as there are only two hotels in Vilseck, if that. The staff is incredible! They all are very nice and they actually care! Rooms are basic with very small shower corner that floods...

This is a cute little place with a fair bit of charm and a wonderful staff. The rooms are basic and pretty small, but typical for a European hotel. I stayed in January and the room was plenty warm. There is no free internet. The restaurant offered good food. All in all, for the price, this is a good place...

My fiance and I stayed here for one night only and honestly, I cannot imagine we would stay longer. Check-in was great! The lady who worked at reception was very friendly, spoke English well and helped even with a late check out. Our room was on the second floor and even though it was quite large according to European standards,...

My family and I were leaving Germany and stayed here. We have a family of four, two adults and two kids (6 and 10). The room is definitely large enough. We did not get the suite which has a kitchenette. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area for a shorter period of time. If you need...

I stayed at Hotel Angerer for a week for a business trip, and it was a perfectly fine choice in the Vilseck/Grafenwoehr area. This is a smaller place and the front desk isn't manned 24/7, but the proprietor lives nearby and comes over quickly if there is an issue (you can call from the front desk). Service was friendly and...

I didn't stay at this hotel. After church and before the Faschingsfest parade began, decided to try local fare in Vilseck. Ordered the specialty, fresh weisswurst with pretzel and mustard. Basically two white brats, a pretzel and dish of mustard. Most of the locals around me were ordering schnitzel, dumplings and large beers. Clearly I ordered the wrong dish:) Food...
