We booked a two night stay in June 2021. Our reservation was for the "De Luxe" room!! What a disapointment. On arival we were met by VERY helpful staff. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, booking was not a problem. We went to the room on the first floor. Outside was the temperature around the 25c inside the room it was around 30c, no airco! only a little fan!? If this was the De Lux room I do n ot want to see the Standard rooms!! Breakfast was a joke, yes the buffet did look good but........... The scrambled egg and bacon was cold. After mentioning this to the staff I was greated with the reply "we cannot do anything about it". Thanks. The second day was the situation in the room and at breakfast not much better. Absolutely disapointing there are no other words.

This hotel is a difficult one. Staff is not happy. Other guests are not happy. So why stay? Because you have to try. If you like to see Sluis. The hotel is old and pushed down by it’s owners. Corona breakfasts. A lot of corona refugees from Belgium. So be aware. If you like hot rooms with no fresh air this is your hotel. The bar is awful. See to believe

The hotel is located close to the center of the Lock. Check-in at 15h. Everything else is pretty old and outdated. The hotel is badly in need of an update. It all depends on the price you pay for the hotel for the price review, the price is too high. The management of this hotel has be urgent need of consulting for hotel projects.

Booked Comfort Room with bath. It was a small clean room on the top floor with no view at all and broken bathroom door. Bath tub was also small. Mirror in the room was too low. Safe deposit box cannot be opened. At night somebody (staff or guest?) just opened our door without knocking first. We are not coming back.
